12:49 pm ET Parx (Race 3) – Desantis 8/5 (2-star play)
Desantis has shown ability in 7 starts to date, with the first 5 coming on a synthetic track at Woodbine. He subsequently joined current handler Louis C Linder Jr. The first of his 2 starts for Linder saw him finish2 1/2 lengths 2nd in a $25,000 maiden claimer over 6 1/2 furlongs at Parx at the start of last month.
The drop in grade today following a 4th place in a 6-furlong $40,000 maiden claimer subsequently is a positive with the 3-year-old son of Palace well drawn to record a first victory.
1:16 pm ET Parx (Race 4) – Exit Right 6/5 (2-star play)
Exit Right was victorious over this course and distance in an $8,000 starter contest in August, but disappointed on his next 2 starts. He returned to form with a pair of 3rd-place finishes after a break, however, including when beaten 2 1/2 lengths in an $8,000 starter contest at Parx 4 weeks ago.
Regular pilot Ruben Silvera takes the ride for trainer Jamie Ness and the son of Effinex is taken to deliver an 11th win from 21 starts at this venue.
2:37 pm ET Parx (Race 7) – Tribord 8/5 (2-star play)
All 3 of Tribord’s wins have come at Parx, most recently when making most to score by 5 lengths in a $12,500 claiming contest on a good main track in September. She has acquitted herself well in 3 of her 4 subsequent starts, including when 2 1/4 lengths 4th over a mile and 70 yards there last month.
A slight step up in distance is no issue today and, dropping back down in grade, she looks up to scoring with regular pilot Adam Bowman up.
