2:55 pm ET Parx (Race 6) – Big Ambition 2/1 (2-star play)
Big Ambition has performed well in 5 career starts to date, finishing on the board in 4 of them. Her latest effort came when beaten 6 1/2 lengths into 3rd in a $30,000 maiden claiming contest at Laurel just over a month ago.
The daughter of Mr Big had delivered 2 good efforts at Parx prior to that and with the drop back in distance no issue she is taken to score today following a taking 48-second 4-furlong breeze at Laurel earlier this month.
3:22 pm ET Parx (Race 7) – Ninja Prize 9/5 (2-star play)
Ninja Prize ran down the field on a good dirt track having raced prominently early over 7 furlongs at Parx in his debut, but the gelding has registered improved efforts when runner-up there on both subsequent starts.
The second of those came when he was beaten 2 1/2 lengths over 6 furlongs on a sloppy main track at the end of last month. The drop back in distance should prove no problem and he looks capable of breaking his maiden for handler Dee Curry with regular jockey Joseph Trejos riding.
4:43 pm ET Parx (Race 10) – Chelsea Wall 6/1 (1-star play)
Chelsea Wall was a multiple winner at this venue last year, including in allowance optional claiming company in October. She made the perfect start to her 2023 campaign when racing from mid-pack prior to delivering a 2-length victory in a $15,000 claiming contest over a mile and 70 yards at Parx last month.
She was claimed by current connections and switched to the Jamie Ness barn subsequently. She has won over this distance and looks up to completing a double.
