2:49 pm Saratoga (Race 4) – Remote 2/1 (2-star play)
Improving with racing since finishing seventh when making his debut in a mile maiden special weight on the main track at Gulfstream Park in February. Switch to turf appears to have suited and while the War Front colt stumbled badly when unseating at Belmont Park in a mile-and-a-quarter contest in May he put that mishap behind him when runner-up over this trip at the same venue last month. Taken to score at the fifth attempt for trainer Christophe Clement.
4:29 pm Saratoga (Race 7) – Tarabi 5/2 (2-star play)
Demonstrated good form last year following up an impressive maiden special weight victory at Ellis Park with two placed efforts in Grade 1 company. The first of those came in the seven furlong Spinaway on good main track here in September and she subsequently placed third in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. Returned this campaign with a two length second in a seven furlong allowance optional claimer and is taken to go one better back in a stakes contest.
5:39 pm Saratoga (Race 9) – Just Cindy 5/2 (2-star play)
A $140,000 purchase as a yearling the daughter of Justify had delivered some good works at Churchill Downs prior to making the perfect start to her racing career when scoring by two-and-a-quarter-lengths in a five-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight at the Kentucky venue last month. Has a top jockey in Irad Ortiz in the saddle and having drawn the rail she looks up to maintaining her unbeaten record stepping up to Grade 3 company for trainer Eddie Kenneally.
