Horse Racing picks for Parx race track on Tuesday, October 4: Go in for Date Night Kisses

3:10 pm Parx (Race 6) – Date Night Kisses 6/4 (2-star play)

Demonstrated good form since joining the powerful Jamie Ness barn finishing on the board in each of her five starts including when winning by three lengths in a starter optional claiming contest over six furlongs at Delaware Park three starts back. Well beaten third at the same venue subsequently but fared better when three-and-a-half-lengths third in an allowance contest on her first start here. Looks capable of registering a third career success with a top jockey in Ruben Silvera up.

3:37 pm Parx (Race 7) – Pegasus In Flight 6/4 (2-star play)

Performed well when finishing runner-up in a mile-and-one-sixteenth $16,000 maiden claimer on turf at Monmouth Park in August. Subsequently claimed by current connections and delivered an impressive six-and-a-quarter-length triumph over five-and-one-half-furlongs in a $25,000 maiden claimer on the main track at the same venue subsequently. Duly followed up in a starter optional claimer on her first start at this track since last November and the daughter of Midshipman is selected to complete a hat-trick stepping back up to a mile.

4:31 pm Parx (Race 9) – Carroll Girl 11/8 (2-star play)

Showed ability when trained by Richard Baltas in California earlier this year. Put a couple of below par efforts for two different trainers behind her however when delivering a seven-and-three-quarter-length victory in a six-furlong maiden special weight on a good dirt surface when debuting on the main track and for trainer Jamie Ness here last month. Remains open to improvement on the main track and is selected to follow up having drawn the rail in this contest.
