After a busy weekend, the MLB slate is lighter on Monday, but with no shortage of compelling matchups. And what better way to celebrate a full slate of baseball than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay with a payout of over 9/1 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every MLB game today. Let’s get into our mega parlay for Monday.

Angels -1.5 (+120)

Rays ML (+110)

Padres first 5 innings team total over 2.5 (+120)

Parlay odds: +916

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Angels -1.5 (+120) over Royals

To start this mega parlay we have the Angels on the run line. This is less of an endorsement of Noah Syndergaard and the Angels than it is a fade of the Royals. Simply put, Kansas City is one of the worst teams in baseball, if not the worst. The Royals lack depth at all levels, and they’ll send a struggling pitcher in Kris Bubic to the mound on Monday. Bubic is one of the worst starters in the AL, posting an ERA of 8.36 and surrendering 26 runs through his first 28 innings pitched. To make matters worse, the LA offense has seemed to get back on track after a difficult multi-week stretch.

Losing has been contagious for the Royals, especially on the road. Even if Syndergaard doesn’t have an excellent outing, his team should be able to tag Bubic for a few runs and get to that Kansas City bullpen early on. This one should be lopsided. At home, the Angels run line has value at this plus-money price.

Rays ML (+110) over Yankees

For our next leg we have the Rays on the money line. Last week, I backed Shane McClanahan to lead the Rays to win over the Yankees and it didn’t quite work out. However, I’m going back to the well because McClanahan’s only blemishes in that start were 2 home runs allowed. Those accounted for 4 of the 16 earned runs he’s surrendered all season, so I think he’s due for some positive regression on that front. The Yankees lineup continues to mash, but they scored only a combined 8 runs in 27 innings against the Rays last week. Even with Gerrit Cole on the mound, Tampa Bay’s offense should be able to hold serve at home, where the Rays are 8 games over .500 this season. Back McClanahan and the Rays to pick up a series-opening win as short underdogs.

Padres first 5 innings team total over 2.5 (+120) vs Diamondbacks

For the final leg of this parlay, we have the San Diego Padres over 2.5 runs in the first 5 innings. We’re getting a little creative with this leg because I’m not sold on the Padres winning this going away. However, I am a believer in their offense against an inconsistent opposing pitcher. That’s exactly what we’re getting in this matchup. Zach Davies gets the start for Arizona, and he’s been up and down this season. The Diamondbacks starter has allowed at least 3 runs through 5 IP in 5 of his last 7 outings, and most of those came against lesser teams. The Padres offense is clicking and much better than the Reds or Royals. At this price, I like backing Manny Machado and co. to jump all over Davies early and pick up a few quick runs.
