Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 over Milwaukee Brewers (-105)

Taking the mound for the Brewers int his matchup is Bryse Wilson, who is 3-1 this season with a 3.19 ERA. Wilson started the season in the bullpen but moved into the rotation as an injury replacement. Wilson is coming off his worst start of the season, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits in 4 innings pitched. Given the strength of the Phillies offense, which has scored 160 runs in their last 27 games, Philadelphia should be able to put runs on the board.

On the mound for Philadelphia will be Zack Wheeler, who is 6-3 this season with a 2.32 ERA. Wheeler is coming off a dominating performance against the Giants where we struck out 9 batters, giving up just 2 hits in 6 innings pitched. There is a clear difference in quality as far as pitching is concerned and the Phillies should be able to comfortably outscore the Brewers.

New York Mets vs Washington Nationals Under 8 (-115)

While it may not look like it at first glance, this matchup could easily turn into a pitchers’ duel. MacKenzie Gore will be on the mound for the Nationals and is quickly becoming one of MLB’s most promising young arms, having struck out 8 or more batters in 3 of his last 4 starts. He’s also given up just 2 runs or fewer in 9 of his 11 starts this season. As for the Mets’ Tylor Megill, he has made 2 starts since returning from the IL and in his last 12 innings has racked up 16 strikeouts while allowing just 2 earned runs. All that suggests we should see a low-scoring matchup in this one.

Detroit Tigers -1.5 over Texas Rangers (+152)

We have another great pitching matchup in store as current AL Cy Young frontrunner Tarik Skubal takes the mound for the Tigers, while the Rangers will counter with Nathan Eovaldi. Skubal has been solid all season long and now goes against a Texas team that ranks just 24th in wOBA against southpaw pitching over the past 30 days. As for Eovaldi, this will be just his 2nd start since returning from the IL and he completed just 3 innings against Arizona last time. There’s every chance that Eovaldi is still a bit rusty and I’m counting on this Tigers lineup to take advantage. Detroit has been excellent swinging the bats against right-handers, ranking 6th in wOBA. Let’s roll with the Tigers on the run line at favorable odds to wrap up our MLB parlay for today.
