Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+112) over St. Louis Cardinals

To start off our mega parlay, we’re going with the Dodgers on the run line. Los Angeles is getting another terrific season from Clayton Kershaw, as the southpaw continues to defy expectations in the twilight years of his career. Through his first 9 starts of the campaign, Kershaw has surrendered just 15 earned runs and has 7 quality starts en route to an ERA of 2.52 on the season. In fact, Kershaw’s best outing of the season came against the Cardinals on April 29, where he tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball in a Dodger victory. While I don’t expect that level of performance today, the lefty should put forth another consistent outing and get plenty of run support from a lineup that is suddenly clicking on all cylinders. Back Los Angeles in this series finale.

New York Yankees -1.5 (+105) over Cincinnati Reds

For the second leg of this parlay, I’m going with the Yankees on the run line. It hasn’t been the easiest start to the season for New York, but the Yankees have fought through some poor injury luck and a difficult schedule and they seem to be turning it around of late. Winners of 8 of their last 11 games, the Bronx Bombers should see more success with Luis Severino on the mound on Sunday. The right-hander holds an xERA of 2.94 and ranks in the top 20th percentile of all qualified pitchers in xBA, xSLG and xwOBA. He’ll be opposed by Hunter Greene, who has terrific stuff but can’t always control it, as evident by the 13 runs he’s allowed over his last 15 innings pitched. The Yankee bats should do enough to give Severino and their bullpen a healthy cushion in Cincinnati.

New York Mets -1.5 (+108) over Cleveland Guardians

This game was postponed on Saturday, but I’m going right back to the well with the Mets run line for our final leg of this parlay. Outside of a pair of poor outlier performances against the Tigers and Brewers, Max Scherzer has been his usual consistent self on the mound and he’ll get the ball in Sunday’s matinee game for New York. More than the pitching, the bigger story for the Mets was the breakthrough of their offense for 10 runs in a victory on Friday. New York now has 26 runs over its last 4 games, so there is reason for optimism regarding the Mets offense. Against young right-hander Tanner Bibee, New York should give Scherzer a lead and do enough against the Guardians bullpen to close the door in a victory by at least 2 runs.
