The MLB season is approaching its final third, and we have another packed slate of baseball on Thursday. There are a number of compelling matchups throughout the day from coast to coast. And what better way to celebrate a full slate of baseball than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay with a payout of over 9/1 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every MLB game today. Let’s get into our mega parlay for Thursday.

Phillies -1.5 (-110)

Yankees -1.5 (-110)

Rockies ML (+180)

Parlay odds: +903

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (-110) over Pittsburgh Pirates

To start off this mega parlay, we are going with the Phillies on the run line. Philadelphia is coming off a successful series against the Braves, and now the Phillies will have Zack Wheeler on the hill for this matchup. Wheeler has clearly been the ace for this group in 2022, posting an ERA of 2.78 and WHIP of 1.04. This game presents a great opportunity for Wheeler to keep his momentum, as he’s allowed just 7 runs in his last 26.0 IP. Look for that to continue in this one.

On the other side, the Pirates have not been an impressive lineup this season, as they have the 3rd-worst OPS in baseball. In fact, Pittsburgh was just swept by the Cubs, while scoring just 4 total runs in 2 games. Pirates starter Zach Thompson takes the mound in this one, but Wheeler is in a different class. Don’t expect Kyle Schwarber and company to have trouble putting runs on the board against Thompson on Thursday.

New York Yankees -1.5 (-110) over Kansas City Royals

For the second leg of our parlay, we are going with the Yankees on the run line. New York emerged from the all-star break and had difficult series against the Astros, Orioles and Mets. But things will lighten up on Thursday, as they’ll host the Royals in a chance to get back on track. After consecutive starts against Taijuan Walker and Max Scherzer, New York’s lineup gets a much-needed break against Brady Singer. Singer’s last 4 starts have been strong, but those came against the likes of the Tigers, Guardians and Rays. It’s safe to say that this Yankees lineup is a different animal entirely.

Jameson Taillon gets the start for New York, and he’s been a demonstrably better pitcher in the friendly confines of the Bronx. Taillon’s ERA is a full 1.00 lower at home than it is on the road, and the righty tends to get excellent run support at home. This series is of the utmost importance to the Yankees after a poor stretch, and I expect them to be motivated in this series opener.

Colorado Rockies ML (+180) over Los Angeles Dodgers

For the final leg of our mega parlay, we are going with the Rockies on the money line. Betting against the Dodgers hasn’t been a profitable endeavor this season, but this is a good scheduling spot for Colorado. Los Angeles is coming off 7 straight games without an off day, and now the Dodgers have to face a Rockies team that’s played well at Coors Field all season.

LA does have Tyler Anderson taking the mound, who has outperformed all expectations this season. However, his ERA is a half-point higher away from Dodger Stadium. Anderson will be taking on a Rockies lineup that has tallied 53 runs in their last 9 home games, and should scratch home a couple against the lefty, and the Dodgers bullpen. In 4 starts this season, José Ureña has surrendered just 8 earned runs, including only 1 run against the Dodgers in 6.2 IP earlier this month. Look for another solid outing from the righty en route to an upset victory.
