The Major League Baseball season has started off with a bang as the new rules have made the game much quicker. With more than a dozen games on tap on Tuesday, I have looked through today’s MLB slate and have found 3 picks that combine for a +832 payout at FanDuel Sportsbook. Be sure to check out our MLB predictions for all 15 games, but for now let’s get into my mega parlay for today.

Guardians -1.5 (-110)

Blue Jays -1.5 (-104)

Marlins -1.5 (+150)

Parlay odds: +832

Cleveland Guardians -1.5 (-110) over Oakland Athletics

To start our mega parlay, we’re going to be backing the Guardians on the run line. Shane Bieber just threw 6 shutout innings against a strong Mariners offense, and now he’ll get to take on this weak Oakland squad out west. The A’s lineup has been unable to produce at all early on in the season against a hittable Angels pitching staff, and it doesn’t appear as if that’ll change anytime soon. Cleveland will be opposed by JP Sears, who has not been the same pitcher since he was traded from the Yankees in the deal for Frankie Montas last summer. Not only do the Guardians have Bieber on the mound and the better offense, but they also have an elite bullpen with the best closer in baseball at the moment. This is a complete mismatch and I expect Cleveland to roll on Tuesday.

Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 (-104) over Kansas City Royals

For the second leg of our mega parlay, we’re going with the Toronto Blue Jays on the run line over the Kansas City Royals. After an awful 2022 campaign, Toronto starter Yusei Kikuchi developed a new go-to pitch in the offseason, which led to Kikuchi having the lowest ERA and the most strikeouts of any pitcher in spring training. In fact, in 20.2 innings of work, the southpaw had a 0.87 ERA with 31 strikeouts. The Blue Jays lineup also needs to get going, but they’ll have the perfect remedy in facing Kris Bubic.

Bubic was one of the worst pitchers in baseball last season, ranking in the 2nd percentile in xBA, 3rd percentile in xERA, 7th percentile in hard-hit rate, and so on. He was also ranked as one of the worst qualified pitchers in batting average allowed at .304, plus he struggled with walks. Things weren’t any better in spring training, with 7 walks in 10.1 innings pitcher. That could be his biggest weakness against a patient and powerful Blue Jays lineup. To make matters worse, Bubic never found a rhythm at Kauffman Stadium in 2022, finishing with a 1-6 record with a 5.80 ERA. This game should be one-way traffic, and I like the Blue Jays to bounce back after Monday’s loss.

Miami Marlins -1.5 (+150) over Minnesota Twins

To close out our mega parlay, we’re going to back the Marlins to cover the run line against the Twins. Minnesota’s 4-0 start has been impressive, but now the Twins will face their toughest test of the season so far, as Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara takes the mound on Tuesday. Alcantara was by far the best pitcher in the NL last season and arguably the best pitcher across baseball, so his lukewarm start to the season against the Mets was a surprise. However, I trust the Miami ace to quiet this red-hot Twins lineup. On the other side, the Marlins offense should get a much-needed break against Kenta Maeda on the mound. Maeda finished 2022 with a 4.66 ERA across 21 starts, and all it should take is a couple of runs for the Marlins to be able to cover this number.
