Following a modest 6-game schedule on Monday, the week in Major League Baseball continues with a full 15-game slate on Tuesday. The headliner is a nationally televised battle between the Twins and Braves at 7:20 pm ET on TBS. Also joining the lineup are Reds vs Orioles, Marlins vs Red Sox and Rays vs Diamondbacks.

Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks in addition to my best YRFI/NRFI bets.

Brewers ML (+130)

Braves -1.5 (+130)

Angels -1.5 (+100)

MLB parlay odds: +958

For this parlay we are going with two favorites on the run line and an underdog on the money line. Let’s break down each of the legs.

Milwaukee Brewers ML over New York Mets (+130)

The Mets have been by far the most disappointing team in baseball this season. They are also one of the worst, at least right now. Their 35-43 record has them completely out of the National League East race (16 games behind the Braves) and if they don’t start winning immediately they will also play themselves out of the wild-card discussion sooner rather than later. New York is 5-16 in its last 21 games after losing to Milwaukee on Monday despite having Justin Verlander on the mound. The Mets are close to an automatic fade, and having to face Julio Teheran on Tuesday is certainly no exception. To say that Teheran is in resurgent form at 32 would be a gross understatement. The right-hander is sporting a 1.53 ERA and 0.88 WHIP through 6 appearances with his new team. Count on him adding to the Mets’ woes.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 over Minnesota Twins (+130)

Dating back to pretty much this time last year, the Braves have been going in the completely opposite direction from the Mets. Atlanta faced a double-digit deficit of its own in the division in June 2022 only to storm back to win another NL East title. While the Mets have never recovered, it has been full steam ahead for the Braves. The 2021 World Series champions are 51-27, including 18-3 in their last 21 contests. There is no reason to think they will slow down with Bryce Elder on the mound. Elder is 5-1 with a 2.40 ERA and 1.11 WHIP. In his last 2 outings, he has worked 13.0 innings while allowing just a single run. Atlanta took the series opener against Minnesota 4-1 on Monday and I expect more of the same to continue.

LA Angels -1.5 over Chicago White Sox (+100)

The Angels prevailed 2-1 on Monday and now the White Sox have the unenviable task of facing Shohei Ohtani. Unsurprisingly, Ohtani has been in awesome form on the mound this season. The right-hander is sporting a 2.47 ERA through 51.0 innings and in 8 home starts the opposition is hitting just .163 against him. Chicago is unlikely to be able to cobble together much offense against him, needless to say. The White Sox are countering with fellow righty Michael Kopech, who is 3-6 with a 4.06 ERA. He has failed to last longer than 5.0 innings in his last 3 outings, too. Give me the Halos to prevail by multiple runs.
