A full 15-game schedule is on the docket for Wednesday as another week in Major League Baseball continues. There is baseball pretty much all day long, with 5 games taking place in the afternoon — starting with a 12:35 pm ET showdown between Texas and Pittsburgh. Blue Jays vs Rays, Orioles vs Yankees and Dodgers vs Braves are among the other matchups.

Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our MLB picks.

Twins -1.5 (+135)

Nationals ML (+135)

Mets ML (+102)

MLB parlay odds: +1016

For this parlay we are going with 2 underdogs on the money line and 1 favorite on the run line. Let’s break down each of the 3 legs.

Twins -1.5 over Giants (+135)

Minnesota starter Joe Ryan has elevated his game this season to another level; his production has been nothing short of what you would want from an ace. The 26-year-old righty has logged at least 6.0 innings in each of his 9 starts while delivering quality starts on 8 of those occasions. Ryan’s 2.25 ERA is supported by a 2.33 FIP and his 14.7% swinging strike rate is truly an elite mark. Behind him is a bullpen that ranks 8th in FIP so far in 2023. San Francisco’s Anthony DeSclafani has also pitched well this year, but the ‘pen is vulnerable and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the Twins do some damage in the later innings. Minnesota has won 6 of Ryan’s 9 starts and all 6 of those victories have come by multiple runs. Needless to say, there is great value on the -1.5 run line at +135.

Nationals ML over Padres (+135)

If there is 1 thing the Nationals do well, it’s hit left-handed pitching. Heading into a matchup with Ryan Weathers of San Diego, Washington this season is batting .299 against southpaws. Weathers has struggled mightily against right-handed batters, allowing a .254 such batting average. He is also coming off his worst start of the season, allowing 4 earned runs across 5.2 innings of work against the Dodgers. His strikeout-to-walk rate is only 1.56-to-1, which could spell trouble against the Nationals. Meanwhile, the Padres have endured their issues against right-handed pitching this season; they rank dead last among all MLB teams in that department. Trevor Williams of the Nats has been solid for the most part in 2023 and should be able to handle San Diego’s lineup. Give me Washington well into plus money.

Mets ML over Cubs (+102)

The Mets are simply the much better team in this matchup. That is certainly the case on paper in terms of talent and it has been the same on the field over the past week or 2. New York had been on a 5-game winning streak prior to Tuesday’s loss, while Chicago is still a dreadful 2-7 in its last 9 overall despite that series-opening victory. Today marks a great pitching matchup between Kodai Senga of the Mets and Marcus Stroman of the Cubs. I’m happy to back Senga given both his form and the quality of his team supporting him. Senga is 4-2 with a 3.77 ERA, and in 2 of his last 3 starts, he has pitched 6.0 innings without allowing more than 1 run. The Mets shouldn’t be underdogs against Cubs – especially not with Senga on the mound.
