March Madness is just around the corner, and to warm us up we have a weekend full of NBA games starting with a 6-game slate this Friday. NBA TV is showing 2 games tonight and I’ve made an effort to include both of them in our NBA mega parlay. Check our NBA Predictions page for picks on the Spread and Total for tonight’s 6-game slate, but for now, let’s dive into my NBA mega parlay.

Washington Wizards ML (+100)

Miami Heat ML (+102)

LA Lakers +1 (-108)

Washington Wizards ML (+100) over Atlanta Hawks

Our NBA mega parlay starts off in Washington where the Wizards and Hawks square off for the 2nd time in 48 hours. Atlanta did come up victorious on Wednesday, but with the Wizards once again playing at home I believe they will make the necessary adjustments here which should help them come out on top. They did cover as 4-point underdogs on Wednesday and oddsmakers are expecting another close game tonight with the spread being just 1.5 points in favor of the Hawks.

Kristaps Porzingis was a problem in that game as he scored 43 points but the Hawks’ roster just isn’t built to handle a player like him, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he went over 30 yet again here. Despite the win 2 days ago, Atlanta isn’t really all that reliable on the road with just 15 wins in 35 games. They’re also only 1-5 ATS in their last 6 away from home, while against the Wizards they’ve covered the spread only twice in 8 meetings. I have Washington bouncing back here with a win.

Miami Heat ML (+102) over Cleveland Cavaliers

Another team looking to bounce back following a disappointing defeat are the Miami Heat. They too are playing the same team that beat them 2 days ago the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was a low-scoring game, marked by stellar defense from both sides which isn’t all that surprising considering they’re ranked 2nd and 4th in defensive efficiency.

Miami cannot afford to lose another game here, as the Atlanta Hawks are right behind them with the two teams battling for the 7th seed. Turnovers are the main reason why the Heat lost on Wednesday, so I expect head coach Eric Spoelstra to be on his guys on that for tonight’s game. It should be another dogfight, but with a 13-5 SU record over the last 18 meetings favoring Miami, I think this mini-series between the two teams ends in a split. Miami has won 18 of the last 20 meetings at Miami-Dade Arena.

LA Lakers +1 (-108) over Toronto Raptors

I saw an interesting stat the other day which said that the Lakers have the best defensive rating in the NBA over the last 10 games. Not having LeBron James at their disposal is turning out to be a blessing in disguise, as his presence speeds things up significantly and the defense suffers a lot as a result. LA is on a run of 6 wins in 8 games, while also covering the spread 6 times. There’s also good news on the injury front as D’Angelo Russell is expected back, which is a welcome addition as Dennis Schroder is still bothered by that ankle twist suffered earlier in the week.

Toronto has been in a bit of a funk lately, losing their last 2 games to the Clippers and Nuggets, two teams that play a similar style to these current Lakers. On the road the Raptors have only 1 win in 5 games and this will be their 5th straight road game before they head back home to face Denver on Tuesday. A lack of energy is often a problem for teams who are on long road trips and that could very well be the case for this Toronto squad, so I expect the Lakers to take advantage of that and win their 3rd game in a row here.
