The new week in the NBA tips off with 9 games on a Monday and we have ourselves an NBA TV double-header.

It all starts with the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers at 7:00 pm ET, after which the Phoenix Suns and LA Clippers square off at 10:00 pm ET at Staples Center.

Read our same-game parlay for Warriors vs Pacers below, but also check out our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Monday’s 9-game slate.

Let’s get started!

Golden State Warriors -4.5 (-110)

Stephen Curry to score 40+ points (+1020)

Parlay odds: +1481

Golden State Warriors -4.5 (-110)

Pickswise handicapper Matt Wiesenfeld has backed the Warriors to cover with a 3-star rating and I have to say I agree with him. Golden State will be disappointed after their loss to Philadelphia and a bounce-back performance is to be expected. The Dubs are yet to lose 2 games in a row and overall on the season they are 18-8 against the spread. In 10 road games this season they are 6-4 ATS and against Indiana in head-to-head meetings they’ve covered the spread 4 times in their last 5 visits to Indy. The Warriors are also on a 9-game win streak against teams from the Central Division, so they are in a good spot heading into tonight’s game.

Stephen Curry to score 40+ points (+1020)

I cannot imagine Stephen Curry having two bad games in a row. He is coming off just an 18-point performance against the Philadelphia 76ers. Heading into that game there was a lot of buzz around him, as he was just 10 3-pointers shy of the all-time record. He drained only 3 in that game, which means he needs 7 more to pass Ray Allen. Tonight is a new opportunity and we could be in for a show — especially since last night Kevin Durant scored 51 points, which is now the high mark for any player in the NBA this season. The previous high was 50 points held by Curry, and you just know Steph is going to be extra motivated to respond with a big game. He has scored 40 or more points 4 times this season and once in the preseason.

Fingers crossed he’s able to do so tonight, as well.
