I was debating between points and assists for Doncic in this game, but after seeing him dominate over the past 3 games I ended up deciding to go with the points. He’s scored 35 and 41 in 2 of his last 3 games, shooting over 50% from the field in all three of those games and knocking down 15 threes on 32 attempts which is just extraordinary. In the first meeting of the season against Phoenix, he finished with 35 points in just 37 minutes played on the road.
The Mavs return home following a mini 2-game road trip, and at the American Airlines Center, Luka is averaging 34.9 points on almost 53% shooting. The Suns’ defense hasn’t been inspiring much confidence over their last few games, and in 4 of their last 5 they’ve allowed 122, 113, 117 and 112 points. Over their last 3, they’ve allowed an average of 61.3 points per game inside the paint, so hopefully Luka can assert his dominance down low early.

Bridges has been on a tear over his last 2 games, knocking down 9 threes on just 14 attempts against the Spurs and Rockets. Granted, the Mavericks’ defense is a lot better than both of those teams, but still, you can get great value for him to score 3 threes tonight. Dallas ranks only 22nd in the NBA in opponent three-point percentage allowing 36.4% of made shots from downtown, so getting +320 odds for this bet looks to be great value. Looking at a larger sample size for Bridges, we can see that he’s finished with at least 3 threes in 4 of his last 7 games, and he’s also upped his efficiency from 41% in November to 42.9% in December. In each of the last 2 Mavs games, an opponent has scored at least 3 threes against them, so fingers crossed Bridges can continue that streak tonight.
