I'm an NFL handicapper here at Pickswise who was raised in a household full of sports fanatics. Since I unfortunately never had LeBron James' jumping ability I wasn't able to make it to the NBA, and chose writing about sports as the next best thing. An avid sports bettor myself, I'm excited to get to write about the industry as it gets set to take off across the country. Buckle up. We cashed an NBA same game parlay at better than 16/1 on Thursday, why not make it two days in a row here? One of the best games on Friday’s slate will take place here as the Philadelphia 76ers host the Chicago Bulls. It’s an Eastern Conference matchup that threatens to feature plenty of offense.

What better way to make this nationally televised showdown even more entertaining than by betting a same game parlay? We’ve also got thoughts on the side and total, which you can find out in our full game preview.

Chicago Bulls ML (+320)

Joel Embiid to score 35+ points (+174)

Tobias Harris over 7.5 rebounds (-122)

Parlay odds: +2866

We’ve got a three-leg parlay here, one which pays out north of 25/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. We get a huge odds boost by combining the Bulls to win with the over on those two 76ers props, when I really don’t think they conflict too much. Allow me to explain:

Chicago Bulls ML (+320)

The 76ers rebounded with a narrow five-point win over the Rockets in their most recent game, but right before that they had lost three in a row, and I don’t think they’re as good as some people thought early in the year. Ben Simmons missed the game against Houston with the flu, and although he’s listed as probable for this one, who knows how much he’ll actually play.

The Bulls on the other hand have won three of their last four games, with the only loss in that span coming to the Clippers. They’ve got the kind of offensive upside necessary to upset any team on any given night. Philly’s defense is a mess right now, as they’re giving up an average of 121 points per game over their last four.

Joel Embiid to score 35+ points (+174)

We get a huge odds boost here by combining this with the Bulls winning, when there’s no evidence to suggest Embiid’s big scoring nights correlate with the 76ers winning. In fact, his points per game average is actually a bit higher in losses than wins this season. He’s scored at least 35 points in four of his last eight, so I think +174 presents value as a standalone even without the big odds increase we get. In that eight-game stretch he also had totals of 31, 33, and 34, so he nearly hit it every time. Each of the past three times he’s scored 35+, the 76ers have lost, which tells you all you need to know about the value we get on these odds.

Tobias Harris over 7.5 rebounds (-122)

We get another (more modest) odds boost by throwing in this over. Harris has 25 rebounds over his past two games, so I feel pretty good about him getting to eight here. Overall he’s gotten at least eight rebounds in seven of his past ten games, and given the way Philly’s recent contests have gone, this one should be played at a pretty fast pace.
