The Philadelphia 76ers lost badly on the road in Game 1. Now they look to bounce back against the Miami Heat as the two teams square off once again in South Beach. Game 2 will tip-off at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN and I’ve prepared a same game parlay which you can find below.

We also have predictions on the side and total for Game 2 of the Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns series, don’t forget to check them out.

Let’s get into it!

Tyler Herro over 2.5 made threes (+112)

Bam Adebayo to score 25+ points (+300)

Parlay odds: +691

Tyler Herro over 2.5 made threes (+112)

Tyler Herro was just crowned the NBA’s 6th Man of the Year after averaging 20.7 points per game off the bench during the regular season. Out of 100 possible 1st place votes, he got 96 of them and his points total was more than double 2nd-placed Kevin Love’s. That tells you how dominant in this role he has been this season.

After a sub-par series against Atlanta, he’s averaging only 14.8 points, but that seems to be behind him after he dropped 25 points against Philly in Game 1. In just 29 minutes played, he shot almost 53% from the field and an unreal 66% from three, making 4-of-6 attempts. Due to the absence of Joel Embiid, the Sixers are forced to start DeAndre Jordan at the center spot which leaves the paint more exposed and others have to help out. That’s the perfect scenario for Herro, who will have plenty of room to let it fly from deep. As a team Miami attempted 36 threes in Game 1 — if they do something similar tonight, there’s no doubt in my mind Herro will score at least 3 of them.

Bam Adebayo to score 25+ points (+300)

One other player that took advantage of Embiid’s absence in Game 1 was Heat center Bam Adebayo, who finished with 24 points on 8-for-10 shooting. His presence down low was a real problem for the 76ers, who are very limited at that position when Embiid isn’t playing. Jordan is way past his prime and he just doesn’t have it in him to stay in front of Bam. I don’t think the Heat will change their approach all that much in Game 2 — this tactic is clearly working and I believe Bam will feast once again on the inside.

Adebayo had some really good games against Philadelphia this season. If we include the regular season and playoffs, he’s now scored 20 or more in consecutive games against them. Neither team shot the ball all that well in the series opener, so if that fixes itself tonight then Bam should have a solid chance of another high-scoring output here.
