A total of 14 teams hit the hardwood in the NBA tonight and I’m focusing on the early tip-off between the New York Knicks and Detroit Pistons for this same game parlay. Tip-off is set for 3:30 pm ET, continue reading below to see my bet.

We also have predictions on the side and total for the rest of Sunday’s action, including the NBA TV clash between the Charlotte Hornets and Brooklyn Nets.

Let’s get into the Knicks vs Pistons clash first though!

Saddiq Bey to score 20+ points (+235)

Cade Cunningham to record 10+ assists (+120)

Parlay odds: +1186

Saddiq Bey to score 20+ points (+235)

With Jerami Grant out for this game, the Pistons will have to resort to using Saddiq Bey for scoring and I think he will deliver. Over his last 10 games he’s averaging 17 points per game, but in 2 games against the Knicks this season he is averaging 23.5 per game. That includes a 32-point game against them in late December. He’s had 20 or more points in 3 of his last 5 games and just 9 days ago he exploded for 51 against the Orlando Magic, so he has shown he can fill it up when he gets going early. The Knicks defense isn’t exactly elite as it was last season and with Randle and Noel not playing, and that’s something Bey can use to his advantage.

Cade Cunningham to record 10+ assists (+120)

Cade Cunningham is the motor of the Pistons’ offense this season and he is making a strong case for Rookie of the Year honors with the way he has played lately. Over his last 8 games his scoring has gone up from 17.1 points per game to 22.4. His assists have also risen from 5.5 to 8.3 per game as he handles to ball pretty much all the time now. Jerami Grant not playing increases that even more and with him averaging 9 assists per game against the Knicks this season, there’s a good chance he can collect 10 today. He has done so in 2 of his last 5 games, and in his last game against Washington he was just 1 assist shy. The Knicks are only 13th in the NBA in opponent assists per game this season, allowing 24.3 per game. They are very thin in the backcourt so I can see Cunningham matching up well with them.
