It promises to be an action-packed Sunday as we close out another NBA week with a 10-game slate. Our focus is set on the Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets as they clash for the 2nd time this season.

Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm ET and I’ve prepared a same-game parlay which is available below. Be sure to also check our predictions on the side and total for the rest of Sunday’s 10-game slate.

Let’s get into it!

Karl-Anthony Towns over 9.5 rebounds (-104)

Anthony Edwards to score 25+ points (+176)

Eric Gordon over 2.5 made threes (+158)

Parlay odds: +1257

Karl-Anthony Towns over 9.5 rebounds (-104)

Karl-Anthony Towns is averaging a whopping 13.6 rebounds per game in 20 career meetings with the Rockets. In the meeting earlier this season he had 10 in just 29 minutes of play. If we dig a bit deeper into the stats, Towns has actually had double-digit rebounds in 17 of the 20 games he has played against this team. His match-up for tonight will be Christian Wood, against whom he has the height advantage and is a much better player overall. Houston is also in the bottom 10 when it comes to opponent total rebounds per game. Teams get 53.9 rebounds against them on average and in their last game against Dallas they allowed the Mavs to get 67 of them. Over their last 3 games that number stands at 58.7 per game, so I’m really liking Towns’ chances in this one.

Anthony Edwards to score 25+ points (+176)

Anthony Edwards has faced the Rockets 4 times in his career and has scored 25+ in 2 of those games. One of those games happened earlier this season when he had 29 points in just 31 minutes played. He shot the ball 47% from the field and drained 6 threes on 12 attempts. With the way this Rockets team has been defending, he could have yet another big game. They are allowing the most points in the NBA over their last 3 games at 124.7 per game and just 2 days ago the Mavs drained 44.7% of their attempts from deep against them. Edwards is capable of scoring both on the inside and is a really solid free-throw shooter as well. I think he will have a big scoring game.

Eric Gordon over 2.5 made threes (+158)

Eric Gordon is the veteran leader of this group and is currently 3rd on the team in scoring averaging 14.4 points per game. Making threes is a big part of his game. He is shooting the ball at 44.8% from downtown and over his last 9 games that number has improved to 46.3%. He didn’t have the best of games against Dallas going 0-3 from deep, but prior to that he had a streak of 3 straight games in which he made 3 of them. I’m expecting a fast-paced game tonight, which should result in a lot more scoring opportunities, especially from the perimeter as the Rockets rely on that part of the court to get a big chunk of their points.
