We have an 11-game slate in the NBA on Wednesday, headlined by a double-header on TNT that begins with the Miami Heat visiting the Boston Celtics before the New York Knicks pay a visit to the Los Angeles Lakers. Other teams taking the court are the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix Suns, and Golden State Warriors. It is an intriguing schedule on the professional hardwood, and one that offers plenty of betting options. Below you can find our best five-team parlay for today’s action, but make sure you also check out our picks on the side and total for all of tonight’s matchups.

Denver Nuggets ML (-260)

Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat Over 222.5 (-110)

Philadelphia 76ers ML (-260)

Dallas Mavericks -1.5 (-110)

Los Angeles Lakers -4.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1236

For this parlay we mix in two favorites against the spread, two favorites on the money line, and an over play. Let’s break down each of the five legs one by one.

Denver Nuggets ML over Charlotte Hornets (-260)

The Nuggets have dropped two straight games against teams chasing the top seed in their respective conferences in the Nets and the Jazz. Tonight, however, they should be in for an easier time of things against the Hornets—an opponent whom they destroyed 129-104 in March. Charlotte remains without several key players, as Gordon Hayward is not yet ready to return from injury along with Miles Bridges (health and safety protocols). Devonte’ Graham is questionable, having only gone through one full practice since picking up a knee injury. MVP favorite Nikola Jokic and a red-hot Michael Porter Jr. should have no trouble leading Denver to victory.

Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat Over 222.5 (-110)

The two teams combined for 254 on Sunday and it is hard to see such a drastic dropoff in their points totals tonight. Seven of the Celtics’ last eight games have reached the 223-point mark, while the Heat have done so in six of their last eight. Neither one of these teams has been great defensively, with the Heat ranking 24th in defensive rating over the last 10 games and the Celtics coming in at 19th in that department. Over the last 10 games the Celtics are 10th in the NBA in pace of play. The Heat will be happy to run with the home team, because Boston is allowing the seventh-most fast break points in the association. Kemba Walker as three 30-point performances in the past six outings and has not scored fewer than 18 points during this stretch.

Philadelphia 76ers ML over Indiana Pacers (-260)

The Philadelphia 76ers bring their eight-game win streak to Indiana as they attempt to sweep the season series with the Pacers. With a three-game cushion atop of the Eastern Conference, the No. 1 seed is almost secured with just a few games left. The Sixers will want to go ahead and wrap it up now so that they can start resting their stars in advance of the playoffs. Philly is coming off a 14-point win over the Pistons. Joel Embiid needed only 23 minutes to deliver 29 points, going 11-for-13 from the fiel. Ben Simmons (back) was sidelined, but he is reportedly good to go for this one. Indiana is ninth in the East and would meet Washington in a play-in game if the season ended today. The Pacers have been awful at home in 2020-21, so the 76ers should have nothing to worry about.

Dallas Mavericks -1.5 over Memphis Grizzlies (-110)

The Dallas Mavericks are one of the most in-form teams in the NBA, having won seven of their last eight games and four in a row. They are also one of the best road teams this season at 21-13. Dallas has already defeat Memphis twice this season and more of the same should be in store for Tuesday. The Grizzlies have been decent of late, but the competition level has been unspectacular. That obviously changes against Luka Doncic and company. Doncic was ejected in the third quarter on Sunday, so he will be well-rested for this one. Despite that ejection, the Mavs still hammered Cleveland 124-97. Memphis, on the other hand, is playing the second leg of a back-to-back situation after facing New Orleans on Monday.

Los Angeles Lakers -4.5 over New York Knicks (-110)

The Lakers are very unpredictable right now, but LeBron James’ return should usher in more consistency. They were +6.5 at home to Phoenix in their last game and won by 13 points. Anthony Davis had one of his best games as a Laker with 42 points and 12 boards, and the starting backcourt of Alex Caruso and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope combined 34 points. LeBron has been upgraded to probable for this one, so it shouldn’t matter if Kyle Kuzma is out (he is questionable). With LeBron in the lineup they are suddenly one of the best frontcourt teams in the NBA (LeBron, AD, and Andre Drummond). The Knicks, missing starting center Mitchell Robinson, do not have great depth in that area. It should also be noted that L.A.’s motivation level will be high as it tries to avoid the play-in tournament.
