It feels good to be back. The new NBA season officially got started last week, and we have another nice slate on Wednesday. What better way to celebrate than by going for a big payday? That’s right, we’re back with another mega parlay, NBA edition. We’re going big and bold again, so let’s not waste any more time. But before we dive in, don’t forget to check out our free picks on the side and total for every NBA game. We came up just one +125 leg short of cashing the mega parlay at 21/1 on Monday, now let’s finish one off on Wednesday:

Atlanta Hawks -6 (110)

Washington Wizards +4.5 (-110)

Sacramento Kings ML (+290)

Parlay odds: +1298

Let’s break down each of the three legs one by one.

Atlanta Hawks -6 (110) over New Orleans Pelicans

To start this mega parlay, we’ve got the Hawks on the spread. Atlanta suffered one disappointing loss to the Cavaliers, but other than that they’ve looked great. Their other two games have both been wins, and both have been by at least 18 points. The loss to Cleveland might seem concerning, but I think Cleveland is just a lot better than most people realize. On Monday night the Cavs beat the Nuggets in Denver, so they aren’t a doormat.

Speaking of doormats, the Pelicans might be one this season. Especially when they’re without Zion Williamson, like they are right now. New Orleans is 1-3, with the win coming against Minnesota. Things have been pretty ugly in all of their losses. Without Williamson on the floor, I just don’t see how they’ll keep up against Atlanta offensively.

Washington Wizards +4.5 (-110) over Boston Celtics

For the other early game in this parlay we’ve got the Wizards on the spread. The Celtics simply have to be exhausted at this point. Boston’s first game of the season went to double overtime, and they just played in another overtime thriller in their most recent game against the Hornets. After that first overtime game they came out flat their next time out and lost by 32 to the Raptors. I think we could see a similar letdown spot here.

Washington has won 2 of their first 3 contests, with the only loss coming to the Nets. That’s despite Bradley Beal starting the season cold. This team quietly has more talent than you’d think, and once Beal starts firing again they’re going to be really tough. Given Boston’s current propensity for playing games that come down to the wire, I think grabbing the 4.5 points makes more sense than the money line.

Sacramento Kings ML (+290) over Phoenix Suns

To give us the odds boost to truly make this a mega parlay, we’ve got the Kings on the money line. I’m just not scared of the Suns right now. Phoenix is 1-2, with their one win coming against a Lakers team that’s dysfunctional. Sacramento has had a very difficult schedule to open the year, so they’ll be ready and sharpened for this one. They’ve beaten the Trail Blazers and lost to the Jazz and Warriors.

In their loss to Utah I thought they played very well, and they led for most of the game. Phoenix looks like they might have a bit of a hangover from their NBA Finals run last year, and they just got smoked by 29 by Portland most recently. The same Portland team that the Kings beat in their opener.
