College football Week 9 is upon us, headlined by a huge Saturday schedule that includes ESPN College Gameday in Bloomington for Minnesota vs Indiana. Also on the slate are Florida vs Georgia, Auburn vs Ole Miss, Arizona vs Texas Tech and Ohio State vs USC.

Here are my best anytime touchdown scorer bets. I have cashed four of my last six plays, so let’s keep the momentum going! Also check out our Week 9 best bets.

College Football Week 9 Touchdown Scorer: Lincoln Kienholz, QB, Louisville Over 1.5 passing TDs (-178)

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing

Kienholz has cooled off a bit in recent weeks, but let’s not overlook his full body of work so far in 2026. The Ohio State transfer comes in with a 10-to-3 touchdown-to-interception ratio and has thrown multiple touchdown passes in four of seven starts. A matchup with Stanford should be just what the doctor ordered to get Kienholz back on track. The Cardinal are sixth-to-last in the entire nation in total defense (443.1 yards per game allowed) and also in the bottom 10 in scoring defense (35.5 ppg allowed). They give up 255.5 passing yards per contest on 7.7 yards per attempt and have surrendered 17 TDs through the air.

College Football Week 9 Touchdown Scorer: Lucky Sutton, RB, San Diego State (-110)

Does Sutton need to get lucky in order to find the endzone on Saturday? Absolutely not; it would be nothing out of the ordinary for him – and it certainly wouldn’t be unexpected against a porous Washington State defense that allows 27.6 points and 386.8 total yards per game. The Cougars’ run-stopping efforts are especially bad, as they give up 171.9 yards per contest on the ground on 5.0 yards per attempt and have allowed 13 rushing touchdowns. Sutton, who is a goal-line machine at 6’1’’ and 225 pounds, is more than capable of taking advantage. The senior out of San Diego has scored five TDs this year, including two against Colorado State last weekend.

College Football Week 9 Touchdown Scorer: Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State (-150)

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing

Yes, Julian Sayin is out (possibly for the season), but that fact is already built into Smith’s odds of scoring a touchdown, and it is being treated as far too big of a factor by the oddsmakers. We’re talking a price of only -150 on a player of Smith’s caliber?! By his standards, that is a steal. The junior from Miami has already delivered 12 TDs this season and has scored multiple times in four different games. Ohio State now faces a USC defense that surrenders a dreadful 8.1 yards per pass attempt and has allowed 13 touchdowns through the air. There is no denying that Luke Fahey is an inexperienced freshman quarterback for the Buckeyes, but guess what happens when you are an inexperienced freshman quarterback? You throw the ball to your best and most reliable receiver – and you do it over and over again, especially in the red zone. It wouldn’t be any surprise if Smith even goes for two TDs on Saturday night.
