It sure has been a fun wild card weekend so far. And for the first time ever we’ll be treated to a playoff game for Monday Night Football. What better way to celebrate the occasion than by betting a same game parlay? We’ve got an NFC West rivalry matchup between the Cardinals and Rams here, and I’ve cooked up an SGP for their third meeting of the season.

Here we go:

Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-108)

Odell Beckham 80+ receiving yards (+370)

Under 49.5 (-110)

Parlay odds: +1845

We have a 3-leg same game parlay, which pays out at north of 18/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down.

Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (-108)

To start this same game parlay we’ve got Los Angeles on the spread. The last time these teams played the Rams emerged with a somewhat convincing win, and that one was in Arizona. The Cardinals also still had DeAndre Hopkins for that game. Hopkins hurt his knee right at the end of Week 14, and Arizona’s passing game hasn’t looked the same since. The offense just hasn’t looked the same overall since Kyler Murray hurt his ankle earlier this season.

Murray finished the year by averaging fewer than 7.0 yards per attempt in each of his last four games. It was the first time in his entire career that he’s had a four-game stretch like that. Arizona has lost four of their past five games, and even in their one win in that span over Dallas, I don’t think they looked too impressive. This is a team that lost by 18 to the Lions not too long ago.

Odell Beckham 80+ receiving yards (+370)

I think this correlates nicely with the first leg of our same game parlay. If Beckham gets going, it likely means that Matthew Stafford is having a pretty solid game. Arizona’s defense is going to be keyed in on slowing down Cooper Kupp at all costs, which should free up some looks for OBJ. He already pretty much got to this number in his one game against the Cardinals this season, when he finished with a 6/77/1 line. Fellow Rams receiver Van Jefferson dealing with a shoulder injury can’t hurt. I think Sean McVay could make getting the ball to Beckham a bit more of a priority in the postseason.

Under 49.5 (-110)

To wrap this same game parlay up and hopefully bring us home, we’ve got the under. I just laid out above why I’m pretty skeptical of this Cardinals offense at the moment. With Hopkins out, Jalen Ramsey will now be freed up to help cover Christian Kirk and others. Aaron Donald absolutely dominated when these teams played in Arizona in Week 14, and he should be just as much of a game-wrecker here. On the flip side, the Rams’ offense has been far from perfect down the stretch, and Stafford has thrown seven interceptions across his last three games.
