The NFL Week 5 Sunday slate wraps up with an AFC North showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens. Whoever wins will remain at least tied atop the division and perhaps stand alone in first depending on how the Cleveland Browns fare against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Below is our SGP for Sunday Night Football, and also be sure to check out our full Bengals vs Ravens picks on the side and total.

Baltimore Ravens -5.5 alternate spread (+140)

J.K. Dobbins to record 8+ receiving yards (-160)

Ja’Marr Chase to score a touchdown (+105)

Parlay odds: +750

Part of the value in same game parlays, of course, is that all of its components can be correlated if you so choose. However, plays that aren’t correlated drive up the overall payout of the parlay. That is the case with backing Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase to find the endzone, but even if that happens there is no reason why the Ravens can’t take care of business. Let’s break down each of these legs one by one.

Baltimore Ravens -5.5 alternate spread (+140)

The Ravens may be tied with the Bengals in the standings, but they have looked like the better football team so far. In fact, Baltimore would be 4-0 if not for a pair of blown double-digit leads against Miami and Buffalo. Obviously you can’t just pretend like those collapses never happened, but the fact that the Ravens were manhandling those opponents for however brief a time says something about their potential. Despite those setbacks, Lamar Jackson is still playing at an elite level.

His dual-threat ability makes him a nightmare for opposing defenses and his running prowess should come into play once again on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Bengals have won back-to-back games but those have come against the Jets and a Dolphins team that was missing Tua Tagovailoa for most of that game.

J.K. Dobbins to record 8+ receiving yards (-160)

Dobbins has recorded 17 and 22 receiving yards in his 2 games this season, plus he is getting healthier. The former Ohio State star saw an uptick in snaps during the second game of his return and that trend should continue this weekend. His targets also increased from Week 3 to 4, going from 2 to 4. Head coach John Harbaugh has been bringing him along slowly, but Dobbins will be needed to fend off the Bengals. Cincinnati’s defense has struggled at times to defend running backs out of the backfield. In Week 2, the Cowboys’ Tony Pollard had 4 receptions for 55 yards; in Week 4, the Jets’ Breece Hall had 6 receptions for 53 yards. Dobbins should exceed this number with room to spare.

Ja’Marr Chase to score a touchdown (+105)

Chase has scored in 2 of 4 games so far in 2022 and now he faces by far the worst passing defense in the NFL. The Ravens were absolute last against the pass in 2021 (also allowed the most fantasy points to the WR position) and is the same through 4 weeks of this year. Chase should be able to capitalize, just as he did last season. In 2 games against Baltimore during the 2021 campaign he amassed a total of 15 receptions on 20 targets for 226 yards and 1 TD.
