NFL Sunday Night Football Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys same game parlay at +635 odds: Tom Brady leads the way

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady (12) makes a call at the line of scrimmage during the first quarter against the Los Angeles Rams in a NFC Divisional playoff football game at Raymond James Stadium.

Oh Sunday Night Football, how we’ve missed you. The NFL season kicked off on Thursday night as the Bills beat up on the Rams 31-10, and Sunday Night will feature an excellent offensive matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys. Tom Brady is aging like fine wine and Dak Prescott is ready to get the Cowboys back to the playoffs, so with such an exciting matchup, we’ve crafted a +635 same game parlay.

Here is our same game parlay, but also be sure to check out our NFL picks for EVERY Week 1 matchup.

Buccaneers -2.5 (-110)

Tom Brady over 274.5 passing yards (-114)

CeeDee Lamb anytime TD (-115)

Parlay odds: +635

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -2.5 over Dallas Cowboys (-110)

The Buccaneers lost Rob Gronkowski to retirement, but their offense is still one of the strongest in the league. They acquired Julio Jones during the offseason, and although it seems Jones is trending towards the end of his career, he adds depth to an already stellar Buccaneers wide receiver corps. I am slightly worried about the health of the Tampa Bay offensive line since they’ve been struggling with injuries this preseason, but Tom Brady doesn’t need 5 seconds to throw the ball, he just needs enough time to see the play start to develop. Brady also relied heavily on Leonard Fournette last season with dump passes, and I expect more of the same on Sunday night. The Cowboys’ offense is good, but losing Amari Cooper was a big loss. Back the Bucs by the field goal.

Tom Brady over 274.5 passing yards (-114)

It’s hard to bet against Brady, no matter the occasion. The 45-year-old continues to defy Father Time and play in the NFL at an elite level as he displayed last season, finishing 2nd in the MVP vote (I think he got robbed). Regardless, Brady is as healthy as he’s been in a long time. He has been battling a knee injury for nearly his entire Buccaneer career, but Brady is back to 100% and only played in one preseason game and went 6/8 for 44 yards. He went over this total in 11 regular season games last season, and this leg of the parlay pairs well with the Buccaneers -2.5 pick because if Tampa Bay is going to win this game, it will be through their passing attack. Even if Chris Godwin is unable to suit up, Brady still has Mike Evans, Russell Gage, Cameron Brate and the newcomer Julio Jones. Expect a steady flow of deep shots by Brady and for him to throw at least 275 yards.

CeeDee Lamb anytime TD (-115)

The Cowboys will score, just not as often as the Bucs. With Cooper leaving in free agency, CeeDee Lamb has become the clear no. 1 receiver in Dallas. Michael Gallup was supposed to be the second option behind Lamb, but the veteran has been ruled out for Sunday’s contest due to a knee injury. That means rookie Jalen Tolbert will have a much larger responsibility on Sunday night in his first career NFL game. However, Dak Prescott and Tolbert are still trying to develop their connection, while Dak and Lamb have solid chemistry already. I expect several deep shots to Lamb and for Dak to target him in the red zone constantly, so Lamb offers excellent value to score anytime throughout the game.
