Monday Night Football is a double-header with the second game being a AFC North showdown between Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers (+2.5). The Browns are coming off a Week 1 upset of the Cincinnati Bengals while the Steelers got thrashed by the San Francisco 49ers at home. Much hype had been made about the Steelers inserting their names into the playoff picture this season, but falling 0-2 would and heading towards a road stretch may make that difficult. I lean toward the home divisional underdog in Pittsburgh and back them with the points.

Amari Cooper (CLE) over 51.5 receiving yards (-110)

Line available on Bet365 at the time of publishing.

A rough Week 1 for Cooper and many of the Browns receiving options as rainy weather affected their offense. Cooper still logged 7 targets and 12.3 y/c against the Bengals, and this is a line he hit in 58% of games last season. Against the Steelers specifically, he put up performances of 101 and 51 yards, good for 9 catches across both games. I have him getting back to 14.7 y/c that we saw last season, and 4 catches, projecting him at 59 yards Monday night. Patrick Peterson being a shell of himself is certainly fun to pick on as well. 1.5U

Deshaun Watson (CLE) over 23.5 rushing yards (-110)

Line available on Bet365 at the time of publishing.

Let’s roll with just the numbers here… Watson averages 31.4 rushing YPG as a Brown and 31.1 for his entire career. Last week, he averaged 9 yards per rush and now is facing T.J. Watt with his RT missing. In short, he may be running for his life Monday night and we’re getting it priced well below his averages. Brock Purdy rushed for 5 times, and that projection alone gets Watson to 24 yards, but I’m expecting him to carry the ball 6-7 times against the Steelers. 1U
