Rams vs Broncos Player Props: Best Bets and Predictions

Sunday’s Week 3 NFL action is headlined by an intriguing inter-conference matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos. Both teams left much to be desired in Week 1, and both bounced back with Week 2 wins. Now mutually sitting 1-1, a win here could be a potential springboard for the rest of the season for either of these Super Bowl contenders, so make sure to tune in at 8:20 PM ET on NBC/Peacock.

Rams vs Broncos SNF player prop: RJ Harvey (DEN) over 2.5 receptions (-115)

RJ Harvey missed Week 2, but he does not have an injury designation ahead of SNF, which means he should resume his role as an active part of Denver’s passing attack out of the backfield. Harvey garnered 68 targets last year (fourth-most on the team), catching 56 of them (third-most), and he started this season by catching all four of his targets against the Chiefs. 

The matchup is a solid one on paper, as the Rams tend to give up quick passes to running backs. Christian McCaffrey had five catches in Week 1 against this LA defense, while Cam Skattebo had four last week. Look for Harvey to continue that trend at home Sunday night. I wouldn’t mind laddering this up to over 4.5, either.

Rams vs Broncos SNF player prop: Kyren Williams (LAR) over 50.5 rushing yards (-115)

Kyren Williams may share the workload with Blake Corum, but this number still feels light considering Williams gets the first crack at everything. This should be an excellent matchup for Williams, as it’s hard to forget what Ken Walker did against this Denver run defense in Week 1. While they were much better in Week 2 against the Jaguars, they still surrendered 65 yards – five per carry – to Bhayshul Tuten. Through two games, the Broncos are bottom-three in EPA per rush allowed, and Williams tends to make poor run defense pay. 

With Puka Nacua doubtful and Denver boasting a strong secondary, Kyren and the Rams running game should be a focal point of Sean McVay’s plan on Sunday night. Williams averages 5.5 yards per carry thus far, good for fifth in the league, while he has surpassed this number in 18 of his last 22 games since the beginning of last year.
