Rashad Phillips' NCAA Tournament Final Pick and Prediction: Baylor cover but Gonzaga prevail

After one of the most thrilling March Madness NCAA Tournaments in history, it all comes down to this — the matchup people wanted to see from the beginning. Make sure you sit back, relax, and enjoy the fireworks in this one.

Once you’ve found out who I’m siding with, make sure you also read the Pickswise team’s thoughts on the side and total for this huge clash between Baylor and Gonzaga.

Baylor Bears vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs

We’re finally here, and it’s exactly how I pictured it. Two teams that have tons of firepower from top to bottom, ready to lock horns and go at it.

Baylor has the better guard tandem but the Zags have the better frontcourt. Drew Timme looks like the best player in the tournament and I think that will continue. Davion Mitchell has helped his draft stock and will give Suggs fits defensively with his physicality or craft.

This game will be a seesaw battle. A mid-major school will be crowned!

My final score prediction is Zags 77 Baylor 74 — meaning I think Gonzaga win the championship but Baylor cover the spread. Buckle up for a classic. Talk soon.

PICK: Baylor +4.5

TOTAL POINTS SCORED PREDICTION: 151 points
