We’ve tallied four straight wins in the NBA player prop world and will look to continue that streak today. Let’s dive into our best NBA player prop bet for games on Saturday, December 30. Also make sure you also read our NBA predictions for today’s games.

Buddy Hield, SG, IND, Over 17.5 points/rebounds (-125)

Line available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

FanDuel is currently the only book to offer this player prop bet at the moment since Buddy Hield isn’t a starter. You’re welcome to wait out on the other major books for a better price, but this is likely the best number you’ll find. Hield and the Pacers will take on the New York Knicks, who are playing their second leg of a back-to-back after losing last night to the youth-driven Orlando Magic that had starters play upwards of 35 minutes – nothing new for a Tom Thibodeau coached team.

In the absence of Bruce Brown, Hield is slated for another 30+ minutes tonight. With extended minutes comes extensive volume. In the 12 games Hield has played in this season where he saw at least 30 minutes, he’s surpassed 17 points + rebounds in 9 games. During that span, he’s averaging over 12 field goal attempts per game and 13 in his last five games.

The Knicks have been a target of mine the last few weeks without Mitchell Robinson. Opponents offensive rating jumps to 116 without the defensive minded center. My top play last night on X was Jalen Suggs over 12.5 points – a line he soared over. I have full confidence in Hield to shoot the ball well tonight at home, where he’s shooting nearly 50% compared to 39% on the road.
