Unfortunately, our only player prop yesterday voided, as Joel Embiid was ruled out minutes before tip. We had great CLV as his line moved a whole assist. Let’s turn to today, where we have five games and plenty of action to back in the NBA on NFL Sunday. If you’re reading this before 2:00 E.T., I’m fading Jalen Duren Under 25.5 Points + Rebounds.

I have come up with a player prop bet for the action on Sunday, January 28, but in addition to that, make sure you read our NBA predictions for the biggest games on the docket.

Markelle Fultz, PG, ORL, Under 10.5 points (-128)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

It was a major concern to me that Markelle Fultz didn’t play in the 4th quarter of the Magic’s one-point loss to the Memphis Grizzlies last time out. Fultz started the game but played just 21 minutes and scored 10 points on five of seven from the field. The most concerning part was that Jalen Suggs exited the game in the 1st quarter, and Fultz still didn’t touch the floor in the 4th. Instead, Cole Anthony and rookie Anthony Black played over him. Black continues to improve in all facets – not great news for Fultz.

Fading 4th-5th options on a team is one of my favorite angels in player props. This line comes in a point too high, and I could see this moving to 9,5 by tipoff. This will be Fultz’s 14th game this season, and will look to stay under this line for the 10th time. His minutes are never guaranteed as we saw last game and with the guard depth for Orlando, Fultz could take a backseat.
