Be alert NBA fans, as plenty of teams are playing their 2nd game in 2 nights tonight. As someone who loves betting unders, this feels like Christmas. Let’s dive into our best NBA player prop bet for games on Thursday, December 21. Also make sure you also read our NBA predictions for today’s games.

Mike Conley, PG, MIN, Under 19.5 points+assists+rebounds (-105)

Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

If you’ve been following me on Twitter or X, or whatever it’s called, you know how much I love fading Mike Conley in this offense. After playing a handful of games without Anthony Edwards and seeing a spike in usage, Conley has returned to his pass-happy form with Edwards back in the lineup. Last night, Conley recorded 4 assists on 5 opportunities, attempted just 7 shots, and didn’t close the game out for the Timberwolves. It’s concerning, to say the least — unless you’re backing his under. That’s where we’re taking our action on Thursday.

Conley will be matched up against a Lakers squad that has registered a top-5 defensive efficiency rate in the last 10 games. They haven’t been great against the point-guard position, but as a 3rd-to-4th option in this offense and playing his 2nd leg of a back-to-back, this is a fine spot to fade the veteran. Conley has stayed under this prop in each of his last 4 games and 14 of 23 with Edwards in the lineup.
