The Toronto Raptors are coming off an overtime defeat to the Chicago Bulls last night. That calls for finding a way to fade them. Let’s dive into our top NBA player prop bet for Saturday, October 28, and be sure to check out our NBA predictions.

Tobias Harris (PHI) Over 19.5 points + rebounds (-117)

Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Let’s start with how Tobias Harris looked on Thursday Night in his first action of the season — fantastic. He played to his strengths and was as efficient as one could ask. He was 8 for 9 from the field, including 3 for 3 from deep. With James Harden not suiting up, Harris will be called upon much more, along with Tyrese Maxey. Like Harris, Maxey delivered in a big way. He scored 31 points on 10 for 22 from the field. The concern is the volume Harris will get with Maxey and Joel Embiid running the show. But this number is just too low for what Harris is capable of.

Last season without Harden, Harris crushed this player prop market. He went over the 23 points + rebounds line in 15 of 20 games while averaging 14 shot attempts. If Harris gets up 14 shots tonight, I feel great about him not only eclipsing this line but scoring upwards of 20 points. From a rebounding perspective, Harris has always been consistent. He averaged upwards of 7 rebounds per game last season with Harden including 7 in the season-opener.

The Raptors are known to be a sound defensive team who will make it an effort to have other players beat you instead of the stars. They’ve given Joel Embiid trouble in the past with Nick Nurse at the helm, but he’s with the other side now. They are coming off an overtime loss last night to the Chicago Bulls that resulted in star players Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes playing upwards of 40 minutes. Not only do I think the 76ers will roll tonight, but look for Harris to be the culprit of a 76ers victory on the road.
