March is here and the NBA has brought us 9 games on today’s night slate. I am now 37-25 for a +14.1% ROI on the season with NBA player prop bets, and I’m looking to build on that momentum. These are 2 of my favorite NBA player prop bets for Friday, March 1, while you can also check out our NBA picks on the side and total of tonight’s matchups.

RJ Barrett (TOR) Under 20.5 points (-115)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing. Recommended 1u wager.

Former #3 overall draft pick RJ Barrett has been streaky as a scorer in his career and since the Raptors traded away Pascal Siakam, Barrett has averaged 21.4 points per 35 minutes when Immanuel Quickley is active. However, many of his good performances have come against defenses with clear deficiencies inside the arc, such as the Grizzlies, Pacers and Hornets. On Friday, he will have to face one of his toughest matchups yet.

Since the return of Draymond Green to the Warriors’ starting lineup, Golden State has been a top-10 defense in the league at the rim, in the midrange area and against the three-ball. As a Raptor, 76.0% of Barrett’s field-goal attempts have come from those zones. We project Barrett for 18.5 points in this spot, making it worth fading him.

After a +1139 win earlier this week, lock in our NBA mega parlay for tonight’s action at +1467 odds

Nikola Vucevic (CHI) Over 1.5 threes (+120)

Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing. Recommended 1u wager.

The shooting big man of the Bulls, Nikola Vucevic, is a disciplined player and therefore one of the easier players in the league to read. When he gets a tough matchup, he doesn’t force volume, but when he gets open jumpers, he will take them. On Friday night, he faces drop coverage from Brook Lopez and his Bucks, which means Vucevic should be open from deep all night.

In 3 previous meetings against the Bucks this season, Vucevic has gone 2-7, 2-4, and 2-5 from three and overall in games without Zach LaVine this season, he has averaged 1.3 makes on 4.3 attempts from three per 33 minutes. In this matchup, we project 5.0 attempts and 1.5 makes, which means this prop at plus-money odds is a great snag.

We also have a Bucks vs Bulls Same Game Parlay for tonight’s TV game at +482 odds
