Following a jam-packed, 12-game NBA slate on Monday night we get the come down of 6 games on Tuesday. Several teams are on a back-to-back, including New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers. That is 50% of the teams! Point being, there will be some obvious “injuries” that keep big names out tonight — but that’s just more opportunity for us in the player prop market. Here is my favorite NBA player prop bet of the evening, and make sure you also read our NBA picks for tonight’s biggest matchups.

When you see a slate this ugly, you try not to get cute. That’s what I’m doing tonight with Tatum. He’s 3 for 3 against this line playing the Pacers this season (including a 51-point blowout). He is averaging 31 ppg on 6 back-to-backs this season and the Pacers are simply not the best to stop him defensively. They rank second worst in isolation defense and 6th worst in PnR defense. Since acquiring Pascal Siakam, Indiana ranks dead last in defending the midrange. I like Tatum to be the guy tonight against a high-paced Indiana team that will allow him to get to the free-throw line and close out this number. Since adding Siakam, the Pacers allow the third-most opponent free throws attempted. 1u.
