Tuesday night of the NBA In-Season Tournament quarterfinals tips off with Knicks vs Bucks and is followed by Suns vs Lakers. Many, myself included, are excited to see how these games play out in terms of intensity and player rotations. In a playoff scenario, rotations will shrink down to 7 guys, but in the regular season we see 8-9 players on any given night. This change could greatly impact player prop betting for these few games as more minutes = higher output in main markets such as points, rebounds and assists. Let’s dive into my favorite look for Tuesday night, but be sure to also check out our NBA picks for both of tonight’s matchups.

Austin Reaves (LAL)  over 20.5 points+rebounds+assists (-115)

Much has been made about Austin Reaves’ role this season and his play being down, but it really depends on the situation. In the four In-Season Tournament group-stage games, Reaves has been hyper-efficient. He’s averaging 25 PRA per game and 27.7 minutes in that stretch, hitting this number in 3-of-4 games. He’s averaging 0.9 PRA per minute in group play and 0.78 PRA per minute on the season. If we project him at 30 minutes Tuesday night as a key member in an elimination game, he is conservatively projected at 23.4-27 PRA. Either way, this number is too low and I’d be reluctant to trust Cam Reddish in big minutes just yet; unless Darvin Ham wants to use this as a dry run for the playoffs, which very well may be the case given the “new-ness” of this tournament. Either way, I’m playing Reaves at over 20.5 PRA for 1.5u.
