This article will examine the must starts for fantasy football for week 13 of the NFL season. We will look at the top quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end that will give us the best shot to make a profit for this week. We will start with the quarterback position.

Quarterback, Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are projected to score the 3rd most points this week with 29.5 points. They are going up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which are giving up the 27th most passing yards with 274.18 yards per game. They are also giving up the 18th most rushing yards in the NFL at 116.73 yards. With Cam Newton’s dual threat capability I look for this to be a good spot for Cam to have a huge day which is why he is the top option for this week.

Running Back, Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers

The Packers are projected to score the 4th most points this week with 29.25 points. They are playing at home and are favored by 14 points with a game that has a projected total of 44.5. Aaron Jones has come on strong in the last few weeks both as a runner and a receiver out of the backfield and has become the feature back for the Packers. The Arizona Cardinals are giving up the 3rd most rushing yards in the NFL with 144.82 yards per game. I look for Aaron Jones to have well over 100 total yards and find the end zone in this game as well.

Wide Receiver, Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are projected to score the most points this week by far at 35.25 points. They are on the road and playing in a game that has a total of 55.5. The Raiders are giving up 238.64 passing yards per game. They don’t have a corner back that can match-up against the speed of Tyreek Hill, so even though they aren’t giving up a lot of passing yards this season I still look for Hill to have a huge day in this game with over 100 yards receiving and at least one touchdown.

Tight End, Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are projected to score the 2nd most points this week at 32.25 points. The Lions are not giving up a lot of passing yards this season, but are giving up a good chunk of yardage to the tight end position this season. After Cooper Kupp’s injury Everett has had a more prominent role in the Rams explosive offense. Everett provides a cheaper option at a position that has been up and down all season still I look for him to have a good day and he allows us to get bigger names into our lineup.
