UFC Fight Night 220 Main Card best bets
Tatiana Suarez win by decision over Montana De La Rosa (-110)
Tatiana Suarez comes into this fight with an MMA record of 9-0. She is 5-0 in the UFC, most recently beating Nina Nunes by unanimous decision in 2019. Suarez is averaging 4.82 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 65%. She is absorbing 1.45 strikes and has a striking defense of 48%. Her grappling has been elite, averaging 6.47 takedowns per 15 minutes. Suarez has a takedown accuracy of 62% and a takedown defense of 100%.
Suarez is easily the biggest favorite on this card, making her money line unplayable. She has wins by KO/TKO, submission and decision, so it is also hard to determine a method of victory. It is worth noting that Montana De La Rosa has lost the majority of her fights by decision, though, and has not lost by finish since 2017. For that reason, backing Suarez to win by decision will be the play.
Mike Malott win by finish over Yohan Lainesse (-125)
Mike Malott comes into this fight with an MMA record of 8-1-1. He is 2-0 in the UFC, most recently beating Micky Gall by KO/TKO in April 2022. Malott is averaging 5.02 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 40%. He is absorbing 4.19 strikes and has a striking defense of 54%. His grappling has also been good so far, averaging 1.55 takedowns every 15 minutes. His takedown accuracy is 33% and he has not been able to defend a takedown so far.
Malott is a heavy favorite, but still looks to be the right side. He has the superior striking and grappling and has also not lost in the UFC. He also has won all of his 9 career fights by finish, therefore backing him to do the same on Saturday will be the play.

UFC Fight Night 220 Preliminary Card best bet

Victor Martinez comes into this fight with an MMA record of 13-4. Martinez is averaging 9.60 significant strikes per minute and has a striking accuracy of 52%. He is absorbing 7.53 strikes and has a striking defense of 55%.
This fight is about even, but because Martinez has the superior striking, backing him will be the play.
