Good morning, Pickswise Nation. The NFL conference championship games may be one day away, but we have plenty on the menu to hold us over until things kick off on the gridiron. There’s action in the NBA and NHL plus we’re coming down the home stretch of the Australian Open. It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s get right to it and make your next bet better with Wise n’ Shine!

About Last Night

Curry cooks Raptors
Stephen Curry went for 35 points as Golden State got past Toronto 129-117. Other NBA winners on Friday were the Bucks, Timberwolves, Heat and Thunder. Our best bet of the day cashed when Milwaukee covered a -7.5 spread in a 141-131 victory at Indiana.

Elias Lindholm cashes another NHL prop winner
Our NHL experts are now on an unbelievable 16-3 prop run after Elias Lindholm of the Flames notched 2 assists during a 5-2 victory over the Kraken. Lindholm was +115 to go over 0.5 assists. In other results, Ottawa upset Toronto 6-2 and New Jersey scraped past Dallas 3-2 in overtime.

Today’s Slate

NBA double-header on ABC
There are 11 NBA games today and to say that it is an intriguing slate would be an understatement. A double-header on ABC begins with Brookyn hosting New York and concludes with the Lakers paying a visit to Boston. Don’t miss any of our NBA picks.

Huge schedule in the NHL
A total of 11 games are also taking place on the ice today. The lineup includes Los Angeles (28-17-6) visiting Tampa Bay (31-15-1). You can find our hockey coverage on the NHL page.

Another super Saturday of college basketball
It should be a fun start to the weekend in college basketball, with a top-10 showdown between Texas and Tennessee set for 6:00 pm ET on ESPN. Another nationally televised contest (also ESPN) pits Kansas against Kentucky. Here are our college basketball predictions.

Best Bet of the Day

NCAAB: Baylor Bears -6.5 over Arkansas Razorbacks (-110)
4:00 pm ET, ESPN

The Arkansas Razorbacks make the short trip down to central Texas to face the Baylor Bears on Saturday afternoon. Arkansas comes into the game riding a 2-game winning streak, but prior to that it had dropped 4 in a row. Baylor has ripped off 5 straight, including Monday’s home win over Kansas. The Bears one of the top offensive teams in the country and they are led by a bevy of great guards. Arkansas’ offense has been sub-par and it is especially bad from beyond the arc. This matchup just doesn’t suit the Razorbacks very well, as they will have to score a lot of points to keep up and that probably isn’t possible. Check out our full Arkansas vs Baylor predictions.

The Arkansas vs Baylor game is available to bet on at DraftKings Sportsbook, where new customers can bet $5 and get $200 if your team wins! Click this link to take advantage of this great offer.
