Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday of sports, Pickswise Nation. We have another full slate of MLB games today including some welcome afternoon action, while the USMNT take the field again tonight in the CONCACAF Gold Cup, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

Another Ohtani masterclass
Shohei Ohtani continues to post rare statistical performances for the Angels and last night it was 10 strikeouts and 2 home runs in a 4-2 win over the White Sox. The second homer came even after he had been forced to stop pitching due to a cracked nail on his right middle finger. Elsewhere, the Marlins beat the Red Sox 10-1 and the A’s upset the Yankees 2-1. The Pickswise team went 2-1 on Best Bets and 1-0 on MLB props.

Today’s Slate

Another 15 MLB games today
There is a full slate of baseball coming our way today, including a 12:20 pm ET start for the Twins vs Braves game on MLB Network. Check out all of today’s MLB picks.

USMNT takes on St. Kitts & Nevis
A 1-1 tie with Jamaica was not a major setback for a new-look USMNT in the opening CONCACAF Gold Cup game, but the alarm bells will be ringing if the co-hosts can’t beat +5500 underdogs St. Kitts & Nevis in St. Louis tonight (9:30 pm ET, FS1). We have soccer picks for the game.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays ML over Arizona Diamondbacks (-146)
9:40 pm ET

The Rays are starting Zach Eflin, who has a 3.35 ERA and an impressive 1.03 WHIP. His percentiles back up these numbers, as he sits at the higher end of most categories. The Diamondbacks are talented, but Eflin has the tools needed to slow them down.  Diamondbacks starter Zach Davies has struggled, with a 1-4 record, a 7.82 ERA and a 1.82 WHIP. His percentiles are the near opposite of Eflin as he sits near the bottom of the league in most categories. Read our full Rays vs Diamondbacks predictions.

You can bet on this Rays vs Diamondbacks pick over at Caesars, which has a great sign-up offer where you can get up to $1,250 back on your first bet! Click here to sign up for Caesars right now.
