About Last Night

NFL Week 8 was electric
Fly Eagles fly! Philadelphia remains the only undefeated team in the league as they defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-13, moving their record to a perfect 7-0. In other news, the Patriots beat the Jets for the 13th consecutive time, the Cowboys crushed the Bears 49-29, and the Saints held the Raiders scoreless in a 24-0 win. And in just his second game with San Francisco, Christian McCaffrey threw a touchdown pass, caught a touchdown pass, and ran for a touchdown as the 49ers beat the Rams 31-14.

The dogs were barking in the NBA
It finally happened! The Lakers got their first win of the season! Los Angeles (+4) took down the Denver Nuggets 121-110, so they are now 1-5 after 6 games. Around the league, the Pistons (+7.5) shocked the Warriors with a 128-114 win, the Pelicans (+3) crushed the Clippers 112-91 and the Spurs (+6) beat the Timberwolves 107-98.

Best Bet of the Day

NFL: Cleveland Browns +3.5 over Cincinnati Bengals
8:15 pm ET, ESPN

The Browns’ defense has been able to slow down this Bengals offense as well, under Joe Burrow. He posted his 4th-worst game of last season against this Browns team, by EPA, and has never won a start against them. The Bengals will surely move the football but without Chase it won’t be a cakewalk. To start the season, the Bengals OL was killing Burrow and frankly, Burrow was killing Burrow by holding onto the ball too long. After taking 13 sacks in the first two games he has only been sacked a total of 11 times in the last five. The Browns have only lost four times out of 21 home games by more than 3 points at home under Kevin Stefanski since 2020. Read our full Bengals vs Browns predictions.
