Good morning, Pickswise Nation. The World Cup may be over (and what a final it was!), but Week 15 of the NFL season is still in progress and it continues with Monday Night Football. There is also plenty of NBA and NHL action on Monday’s schedule. It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s get right to it and make your next bet better with Wise n’ Shine!

About Last Night

Argentina wins epic World Cup final
In perhaps the greatest World Cup final ever, an epic duel between all-time great Lionel Messi (2 goals) and rising great Kylian Mbappe (3 goals) saw Argentina beat France in penalty kicks. It was an absolutely wild affair that was tied 2-2 after 90 minutes and 3-3 after extra time. Our pre-tournament pick of Mbappe to be the leading goalscorer cashed as a +750 winner.

Wild weekend in the NFL ends with a bang
What would Sunday do for an encore following the biggest comeback in NFL history? Well, the Raiders beat the Patriots on a walk-off fumble recovery of a botched razzle-dazzle and both the Chiefs and Jaguars won in overtime — beating the Texans and Cowboys, respectively. On Sunday Night Football the Giants held off the Commanders 20-12 and our +1300 Same Game Parlay was a big winner.

NBA parlay is a +597 winner
It was a productive night for the Pickswise NBA experts, who went 3-0 on player prop bets and cashed a +597 parlay. The parlay hit thanks to New York beating Indiana, Orlando covering +10 against Boston (the Magic actually won outright) and the Chicago-Minnesota game going over 229.5.

Pickswise props go 10-1
Across the NFL, NBA and NHL, Pickswise prop experts went 10-1 overall – 5-1 in the NFL, 3-0 in the NBA and 2-0 in the NHL. On the ice, Calgary’s Nazem Kadri went over 0.5 points with 2 assists and Adam Fox of the Rangers easily surpassed his 0.5 assists quota by dishing out 3.

Today’s Slate

Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field
Week 15 wraps up tonight with what is going to be a frigid contest between the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers. Green Bay needs a win to maintain any realistic playoff aspirations. Here are our Rams vs Packers predictions.

NBA week begins with 9 games
The NBA is tipping off a new week with 9 games on the schedule, headlined by the Lakers visiting the Suns on NBA TV. Philadelphia, Dallas and Milwaukee are also taking the court. Don’t miss any of our NBA picks.

Predators hope to end skid
The Nashville Predators have lost 6 games in a row heading into tonight’s date with the Edmonton Oilers. Eight NHL games in total present a smorgasbord of betting opportunities. You can find our hockey coverage on the NHL page.

Best Bet of the Day

NHL: Vegas Golden Knights 3-way ML over Buffalo Sabres (-105)
10:00 pm ET, ESPN+

A matchup between the Golden Knights and Sabres is a significant mismatch in team talent, as Vegas is #2 overall in the NHL standings and Buffalo is closer to the bottom than the top. The Golden Knights are coming off a 5-2 home loss to the Islanders on Saturday, so expect a big effort from a team that knows its most recent performance was unacceptable. Vegas has been a top-10 defensive team all year, so it should be able to contain Buffalo’s offense. At the other end of the ice, the Knights can exploit a bottom-10 Sabres defense by letting their stars and great all-around depth go to work. This should be a routine win for Vegas. Check out our full Sabres vs Golden Knights predictions.

Stat of the Day

Per College Football Data, Marshall is #1 in the nation in defensive EPA per play and boasts the #1 EPA per pass defense heading into Monday’s Myrtle Beach Bowl. Unsurprisingly, the under is 7-2 in the Thundering Herd’s last 9 games.

Quote of the Day

“I love when the weather turns and we get to have some Packer football weather.”

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers
