I'm an NFL handicapper here at Pickswise who was raised in a household full of sports fanatics. Since I unfortunately never had LeBron James' jumping ability I wasn't able to make it to the NBA, and chose writing about sports as the next best thing. Week 15 of the NFL season is here, and college football bowl season will get underway on Friday. It’s a great time of year for sports fans, and the weekend has a ton of promise. We have plenty football, basketball, hockey, and soccer on the schedule.

Let’s get straight to it as we hope to make your next bet better!

About Last Night

Chargers blow late lead in wild TNF
Thursday Night Football sure was highly entertaining. The Chiefs and Chargers’ offenses both exploded late in the game, leading to a dramatic overtime victory for Kansas City. After the game, I wrote up my couple of biggest takeaways from their 34-28 win. It sure was fun watching Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert match each other throw for throw in the fourth quarter.

A successful day of college hoops
Our experts crushed it in college basketball on Thursday. We had a small slate, but we went 2-0 ATS with Duke -21 and Dartmouth +13.5 both getting to the window. We also cashed our college basketball parlay of Duke -21, Duke/App State over 139.5, and Dartmouth +13.5 at +596 odds! Be sure to check out all of our college basketball picks for Friday.

Today’s Slate

College football bowl season kicks off
The 2021 college football season sure was a wild ride, and now the postseason festivities are underway. Bowl action will start early on Friday, with Middle Tennessee taking on Toledo in the Bahamas Bowl at 12:00 pm ET on ESPN. Northern Illinois will then meet Coastal Carolina in the Tailgreeter Cure Bowl at 6:00pm ET on ESPN2. Make sure to check out our previews for both games, and every bowl game this year, here.

Big slate in the NBA
In addition to the couple of bowl games, there’s a big NBA slate if you’re more of a basketball person. We have eight games on the schedule, headlined by a nationally televised showdown between the Warriors and Celtics (7:30 pm ET on ESPN). Of course, we’ll have free picks on the side and total for all eight games.

Golden Knights vs Rangers highlights 6 NHL games
A matchup between one of the best teams in the East and a playoff team from the West will highlight the NHL card. The Golden Knights and Rangers will do battle at 7:00 pm ET to kickoff the slate in exciting fashion. We’ve gone 8-2 on our last 10 NHL best bets, so our experts are red-hot right now. Check out their picks for all of Friday’s games.

Best Bet of the Day

Anaheim Ducks ML over Arizona Coyotes
10:00 pm ET, ESPN+

Like I just mentioned, our NHL best bets are on fire, so why not continue to ride the wave on Friday? The Ducks are big favorites over the Coyotes, and Pickswise expert Chadwick Wetzel doesn’t see Arizona putting up much of a fight. The Coyotes are one of the worst offensive teams in the league, while the Ducks have been much better than everybody expected. Anaheim has won four of five, and their young core is clicking. Read our full game preview for Coyotes vs Ducks.
