Welcome to another wonderful week of sports. The NBA Finals are in full swing and today we have another big NHL playoff game and a small but interesting MLB slate to ease us into the week. Let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

Warriors tie it up in NBA Finals
The Warriors managed to give themselves plenty of insurance against another 4th-quarter comeback by the Celtics in Game 2 of the NBA Finals last night. Leading 52-50 at halftime, Golden State surged ahead with a 35-14 third quarter before winning 107-88. The series is now tied as the teams head to Boston on Wednesday and the Warriors are again favorites to win the championship at -115 odds with FanDuel Sportsbook, with the Celtics at -105. The Celtics are early 3.5-point home favorites for Game 3.

Champions fight back in the NHL
The Tampa Bay Lightning were in big trouble in their defense of the Stanley Cup, 2-0 down against the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals and trailing 2-0 at home in Game 3 yesterday, but 3 unanswered goals hauled them back to 2-1 in the series. It was a great day of NHL picks for Pickswise too, as we cashed our 3-star play on the Lightning ML, hit the under 5.5 and Steven Stamkos scored to cash Mark Lammey’s +155 odds player prop.

Yankees keep winning, Angels keep losing
JutPicks cashed his MLB player prop for the second straight day on Sunday’s MLB slate. The Yankees extended their winning run to 6 with a  5-4 win over the Tigers but the Angels lost for the 11th straight game, 9-7 to the Phillies. The Braves got back above .500 by beating the Rockies and the Mets beat the Dodgers 5-4 in the 10th.

Today’s Slate

Oilers aiming to avoid sweep
The Oilers are 3-0 down to the Avalanche heading into Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals tonight (8:00 pm ET, TNT), with the Avs favorites on the road to complete a sweep. Check out our preview of tonight’s Avalanche vs Oilers game.

6 MLB games on the schedule
There are just 6 MLB games on the slate today, starting with Diamondbacks vs Reds at 6:40 pm ET and running through to Mets vs Padres at 9:40 pm ET. Blue Jays vs Royals is being shown on ESPN+ at 8:10 pm ET. Read our preview of all today’s baseball games.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays -1.5 over Kansas City Royals
8:10 pm ET

The Blue Jays lost 2 of 3 to the Twins over the weekend, but they have been playing well overall and had an 8-game winning streak heading into that series. The Royals provide a great opportunity for them to start a new one. Despite surprisingly taking a game from the Astros, Kansas City still has the worst record in the league. They are just 9-16 at home this season, while the Blue Jays have won their last 5 road games. The Royals are sending lefty Daniel Lynch to the mound and Toronto finished last season as the absolute best team against left-handed pitching. Check out our full preview of Blue Jays vs Royals.
