Happy Thanksgiving, Pickswise Nation. We’re grateful for your support of Pickswise every day of the year, but especially today. Have a wonderful day — it will be hard not to, with three NFL games to enjoy, plus college football and college basketball. Let’s get straight to making your next Thanksgiving bet better!

About Last Night

Rockets end 15-game losing streak
The party started early in Houston as the Rockets managed to bring an end to their 15-game NBA losing streak, and take their record to 2-16, with a 118-113 home win over the 12-7 Chicago Bulls. The Rockets had been a 9-point underdog. The 4-16 Pelicans upset the 11-7 Wizards 127-102, but there was no shock as the Warriors moved to 16-2 with a 116-96 win over the 76ers.

Pickswise goes 2-0 on NHL Best Bets
Like the NBA, the NHL players get the day off today, but our NHL handicappers went into the holiday by going 2/2 on our Wednesday 3-star picks with the Rangers ML and Penguins vs Canucks under 5.5 both cashing. Another notable result saw newcomers Seattle Kraken beat the 14-3-1 Carolina Hurricanes 2-1.

Today’s Slate

Bills vs Saints tops Thanksgiving Day tripleheader
It’s three times the fun this Thursday with around 12 hours of NFL action to savor. We’re not even going to put a downer on things by mentioning that all 6 teams lost last week. It’s holiday football. Enjoy! Read our previews of all today’s NFL games.

Two college football games
Special thanks to the college athletes who are playing today. We have Fresno State vs San Jose State on FS1 at 3:30pm ET, plus No. 9 Ole Miss vs Mississippi State on ESPN at 7:30pm ET. Check out our predictions for both games.

Busy slate of college hoops

Best Bet of the Day

Under 45.5 points in Bills vs Saints
8:20pm ET, NBC

The Bills’ offense just isn’t the same as it was last year, and Josh Allen has regressed. In 3 of his past 4 games, Allen has averaged 6.0 yards per attempt or worse. Buffalo struggled to generate much against the Colts, and in their embarrassing loss to the Jags, they made Jacksonville’s defensive front look like the ’85 Bears. The Saints offense has been decimated by injuries and they have virtually no weapons at the moment. One of their only bright spots on offense last week was tight end Adam Trautman, and now he’s been sidelined with an injury as well. Take the under. Read our full preview for Bills vs Saints.
