We are already gearing up for Week 14 in the NFL, but first there is plenty of action in the NBA, NHL, college basketball, and UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Let’s get straight to it as we hope to make your next bet better!

The annual Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden saw Villanova and Texas Tech pick up big wins. ‘Nova defeated Syracuse 67-53 in the nightcap after Tech edged Tennessee 57-52 in overtime. Meanwhile, our +597 college basketball parlay of Kansas, Georgia, and Missouri all against the spread was a success. Check out our college basketball parlays for tonight.

Today’s Slate

Bucks-Heat, Blazers-Warriors ESPN double-header
Stephen Curry is 15 three-pointers shy of Ray Allen’s all-time NBA record. Can Curry break it on Wednesday? Okay, that’s not exactly realistic even for Steph. Whatever the case, the Warriors will wrap up an ESPN doubleheader against the Trail Blazers after the Bucks visit the Heat. It’s part of a 13-game NBA slate. Read all of our game previews here.

Flyers look to avoid 10th straight loss
Not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six…no, the Flyers have lost nine games in a row heading into Wednesday’s date with the Devils. A more intriguing affair pits the 13-7-2 Avalanche against the 16-4-3 Rangers. Here are all of today’s NHL game previews.

Big games in the Big Ten
Wednesdays generally aren’t the biggest in college basketball, but we have a handful of all-Power 5 matchups on our hands. It includes a couple of Big Ten clashes: Indiana vs Wisconsin and Michigan State vs Minnesota. Don’t miss our expert picks on the side and total for all of today’s contests.

Barcelona vs Bayern Munich headlines Champions League action
Following wins by Liverpool over AC Milan and RB Leipzig over Manchester City on Tuesday, group-stage action in the Champions League continues with 8 more matchups on Wednesday. The slate includes a showdown between Bayern Munich and Barcelona in Group E, while Chelsea and Manchester United are also in action. Check out our previews for some of the UCL games.

Best Bet of the Day

Colorado Avalanche ML over New York Rangers
7:00 pm ET, NHL Network

The edge in this one goes to visiting Colorado, as the Rangers are playing the second half of a back-to-back situation. Potential fatigue is not what you want when you’re going up against Colorado’s elite offense. The Avalanche lead the league in goals per game (4.14) and they are coming off a 7-goal performance on Monday against Philadelphia. Read our full game preview for Avalanche vs Rangers.

Must-read

Our NFL Week 14 coverage is coming in hot and heavy with the Pickswise Power Rankings and Jared Smith’s Back to the Futures feature available already. Jared, Andrew Ortenberg, and I also discuss this week’s Burning Question, which focuses on the Ravens and the rest of the AFC North. We already have some picks posted for this week’s NFL games and you can also check out our best TD scorer bets for Steelers vs Vikings on Thursday Night Football.

Don’t forget about college football, with one more regular-season game to go followed by bowl season in the near future. I have provided an early look at Saturday’s Army-Navy game in addition to a breakdown of the futures market in advance of the Heisman Trophy presentation and all of the bowl games.

Be sure to head over to the Analysis tab for even more great sports betting content. Later in the day be on the lookout for the best odds boosts and offers, which now includes exclusive advice from The Promo Guy (@ThePromoGuy123).

Stat of the Day

The Cavs are giving up just 102.4 points per game, the second-fewest in the NBA. Therefore Cleveland and the under could be the right plays against a Chicago team that will be without DeMar DeRozan for the first time this season.

Boost of the Day

Barcelona to beat Bayern Munich and at least 2 total goals scored in the game
Boosted to +550 with FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel Sportbook is celebrating a big day in the Champions League with an odds boost for Bayern Munich vs Barcelona. Barca winning and 2+ goals being scored has been boosted from +450 to +550.
