Bears vs Seahawks Anytime TD Scorers: Best Picks and Predictions
Monday Night Football between the Bears and Seahawks has the build up of being one of the best regular-season games through 8 weeks. Two of the best play-callers in the game go head-to-head, with both teams coming off impressive primetime wins. The Bears handed the Patriots a loss on Thursday Night Football, so they will be on extended rest, while the Seahawks shut down the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. Let's break down my Bears vs Seahawks TD scorer best bets for Monday Night Football. MNF Touchdown Scorer: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (-105)
Odds available at BetMGM Sportsbook at time of publishing.
What more is there to say about Jaxon Smith-Njigba? Last year's offensive player of the year is having another historic season, as he's accounted for over 50% of the Seahawks' receiving yards - A percentage that would be a record. He's on pace for over 2,000 receiving yards and close to 20 touchdowns. Yet the books are still offering JSN at nearly even money to find the endzone on Monday Night. I don't expect 10+ days of prep for Chicago to limit JSN from scoring a touchdown at home. Even with all eyes on him due to a lackluster run game and lack of supporting cast on the outside, we're still going to back Smith-Njigba as our top TD play to close out Week 8.
MNF Touchdown Scorer: Caleb Williams (+550)
Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
In two games since returning from injury, Caleb Williams has shown no signs of rust. He's thrown for 300 yards in back-to-back games, along with zero turnovers, which will be crucial in trying to knock off the defending champions in their house. Instead of backing one of Williams' teammates through the air, we're going to take a shot at Williams finding the endzone with his legs at +550. The hamstring injury that held him out of two games has shown no signs of limiting his ability to take off, as he accounted for 18 yards on the ground last week. We haven't seen Williams run for a touchdown since Week 1, when he scored twice, but with extended rest and health not in question, this is a good price to back.
