NFL Week 6 Early Best Bet: Green Bay Packers -1.5 over Dallas Cowboys (-102)
A heated rivalry game against the Bears may have been just what the doctor ordered to light a fire under the Packers. Head coach Matt LaFleur’s squad rolled to a 31-7 victory in Week 5. Now the question is whether Green Bay can sustain that same kind of intensity against an opponent outside of its own division. You have to think the Pack should be able to; after all, getting up for a showdown against the Cowboys can’t be too much to ask. Green Bay has certainly done it plenty of times in the past. In fact, the Packers are 10-1-1 SU in the last 12 head-to-head matchups, including 5-0-1 in the last six.
It is true that the Cowboys are playing on a long week, but the Packers are staying at home after hammering the Bears this past weekend. Rest really should not be much of an advantage for Dallas, which is coming off a disastrous home loss to a previously winless Tampa Bay team. The visitors have several guys – CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Guyton and Joey Porter Jr. to name a few – who are banged up, which could make what is already an uphill climb even more extreme.
We'll have NFL picks for every game in Week 6!
