The NFL calendar continues to roll along, as we’re inching towards the midpoint of the regular season. Week 7 is sure to provide storylines. Can the 49ers remain undefeated when they travel east to play the Falcons? Will the Vikings pick up where they left off before their bye? What’s up with the Rams? To get our thoughts on those questions and more, check out our NFL predictions.
For now, we’re going to focus on the touchdown market. Coming off a 2-1 week with a juicy +650 cash on Omar Cooper Jr., I have three picks for the Week 7 card ready to go. Let’s get into it now!

NFL Week 7 Touchdown Scorer: Justin Jefferson (MIN) +165
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at the time of publishing. Playable to +100.
Justin Jefferson’s touchdown odds have been in this range all season, and the value just feels too good to pass up this week. Coming off a bye, Jettas will line up against a well-traveled Indianapolis defense that will be without CB Sauce Gardner and DE Arden Key, meaning the Colts will be without one of their key pieces in the secondary and one of their leaders in pressures and QB hurries (PFF). Without them, Jefferson’s routes become slightly easier and Kyler Murray benefits from slightly more time to throw.
Per SumerSports, the Colts have surrendered seven passing touchdowns in the red zone, which ranks 20th in the NFL. Further, they’ve broken up just one red-zone pass, and they force the second-lowest contested-target percentage in the league on those red-zone attempts. That was with Gardner. Without him, the Colts figure to be even worse. At this price, I couldn’t bet this fast enough.

NFL Week 7 Touchdown Scorer: Marvin Harrison Jr. (HOU) +285
Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at the time of publishing. Playable to +250.
For whatever reason, Marvin Harrison Jr. was a disappointment in Arizona, but that era is over, and now he’s back with his college quarterback. CJ Stroud seemed to really want to get his Ohio State teammate involved last week. Harrison hadn’t even been with the team a week, but he made the trip to London with the Texans and saw some playing time against the Jaguars. In fact, he played about only 19% of snaps per Sleeper, yet he tied the team-lead in targets with four and brought in three of them – all three of which went for first downs per PFF.
Laying double digits, Houston is expected to beat the Giants handily. It feels like the perfect opportunity to get Harrison a score and boost his confidence for the remainder of the season. If Stroud made it a point to get him the ball that much in the few snaps he played after very little practice time with the team, imagine what he will do in a one-on-one matchup against a Giants defense that is 26th in pass success allowed in the red zone (SumerSports).

NFL Week 7 Touchdown Scorer: Tucker Kraft (GB) +185
Odds available at bet365 at the time of publishing. Playable to +150.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. On National Tight Ends Day, we’re going back to the well and betting a tight end against the Lions defense. It’s worked for us multiple times this season, and this spot really stands out. Per ProFootballReference, Detroit has surrendered the most targets (65), receptions (51) and touchdowns (9) to tight ends this year. Tucker Kraft should be licking his chops ahead of this one.
Kraft only has one touchdown, but he’s been a steady part of the game plan. He trails only Matthew Golden and Christian Watson in targets, while he has 23 more than the next guy behind him. It truly is a three-man show with Golden, Watson and Kraft, so why not take the one with the best price in the best matchup?
Kraft has seven red-zone targets, which is tied with Watson and behind Golden’s 11, and all of them have come from Week 3 on. In that span, he has garnered 28 total targets, bringing in 20 of them. All this to say, he’s very much part of the passing attack right now, and I love the value in him finding pay dirt for the first time since Week 4.
