NFL Week 7 Best Bets: Top Picks for Sunday's Games
It's hard to believe, but we've already reached Week 7 in the 2026 NFL season. As the playoff picture starts to take shape and we gauge who's hot and who's not, we've had four of our top NFL handicappers lock in their NFL best bets for what should be another crazy Sunday of NFL action. Thursday Night Football saw the Bears beat the Patriots to move to 5-2, while New England dropped to 4-3. The NFL standings are very congested right now, particularly in the AFC, and plenty of teams will look to move up.
For NFL Week 7, we've got a solid 12-game slate on Sunday to get hyped up for, kicking off at 9:30 AM ET in Paris with Steelers vs Saints. On that note, let's break down our NFL best bets, while you can find out our expert NFL picks for every game this week and throughout the entire season.
NFL Week 7 Best Bet: New Orleans Saints +3.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers (-115)
Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing.
When the Saints go marching into Paris, will they do so effectively? That's the question surrounding the first-ever NFL regular-season game in Paris, France. New Orleans is coming off a massive win over the Giants, while the Steelers nearly had one stolen from them by the Buccaneers before escaping with an overtime victory. However, on neutral ground in a land far away, will Tyler Shough and his troops be able to respond and pull off the upset? I believe they can, or at the very least keep this game within a field goal.
In Week 1, the Saints went on the road and pushed a talented Lions team to overtime before falling 31-30. The following week, they traveled to Baltimore and beat Lamar Jackson and company. Ironically, it wasn't until New Orleans returned home that things unraveled during a three-game losing streak, a slide they snapped last week with a win over the Giants in New Jersey. Simply put, the Saints travel well and seem to embrace the underdog role even better. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, didn't earn its first road victory until last week when it escaped Tampa Bay with a 25-19 overtime win. While the Saints are technically the home team in this matchup, being nearly 3,000 miles from home feels like an away game for both sides. With that in mind, I believe New Orleans is better suited for the circumstances.
To make matters worse for Pittsburgh, two of its best cornerbacks are listed as questionable for the game. This line opened at Saints +1.5 and has since moved to +3.5, suggesting the oddsmakers and I were on the same page while the betting public saw it differently. It's likely we see a close, hard-fought game in Paris, but if we're talking a field goal and a half-point, give me the Saints.

NFL Week 7 Best Bet: Minnesota Vikings -6.5 over Indianapolis Colts (-110)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The Indianapolis Colts can be a sneaky team with the likes of Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren being constant explosive-play and scoring threats, but this is a horrendous spot for the Colts. In the last five weeks, the Colts have gone toe-to-toe with the Chiefs at Arrowhead in a three-point overtime loss, battled to a two-point win against division-rival Houston before travelling to London to play the Commanders, followed immediately by a road game in Pittsburgh before they ran out of gas in the second half last week at home in an outright loss to the previously winless Tennessee Titans – resulting in the firing of their GM Chris Ballard. Now, they have to pack up and go back on the road to play a Minnesota team that is fresh off a bye.
Being fresh off a bye is good for any team at the professional level, but it’s especially beneficial for the Vikings, as they have the most blitz-heavy and efficient defense in the league under DC Brian Flores. In fact, their 66.7% blitz rate is more than 22% higher than the second-most blitz-heavy team in the league per SumerSports, with that second-most blitz-heavy team being the Commanders – who the Colts played three weeks ago. Daniel Jones threw for fewer than 150 yards with a pick and three turnover-worthy plays against that blitz-heavy Washington defense. Against pressure, Jones has seven turnover-worthy plays, which is tied for the fourth-most in the NFL (PFF).
Flores’ defense has shut opponents down at every level. The Vikings lead the league in EPA per pass and pass success allowed, while they are second in rush success and eighth in EPA per rush allowed (SumerSports). That leaves me questioning Indianapolis’ upside; if Taylor can’t get going, this offense is doomed, and that’s with a healthy Warren – who missed the Week 6 loss to the Titans and wasn’t spotted on the field at the open portion of Wednesday’s practice.
On the other side, the Colts have been poor, sitting 24th or worse in EPA per play and success rate allowed. They’re slightly better against the pass than the run, but the Vikings can win in both areas. Aaron Jones has been very good recently, and Jordan Mason is expected back. A strong rushing performance will eventually open the passing lanes, which is where Justin Jefferson can eat. For reference, only two of Indianapolis’ regular secondary contributors grade above replacement level, and neither rank higher than 85th in PFF coverage grade among qualified safeties and corners in the NFL. That spells mismatch against Jefferson no matter the circumstance; Sauce Gardner’s potential absence due to a mild calf strain sustained last week only enhances the mismatch for the Vikings.
Given the situational and defensive advantages, I love the Vikings in this spot enough to ignore the Friday release of the new Call of Duty – which is notable when Kyler Murray is quarterback of the team you’re betting.

NFL Week 7 Best Bet: Las Vegas Raiders +5.5 over LA Rams (-115)
Odds available at bet365 at time of publishing.
Both the Los Angeles Rams (2-4) and Las Vegas Raiders (3-3) will be desperate for a win when they square off in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon. The Rams have dropped two in a row and three of their last four games, while the Raiders are in the midst of a three-game losing streak. Relative to expectations, things are much more dire for Los Angeles. It was favored to win the Super Bowl when this season began; six weeks later, it has to be worried about simply making the playoffs. Head coach Sean McVay’s squad fell to lowly Arizona 18-16 at home last weekend. Puka Nacua is back, but the offense is still struggling and now fellow wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) is on injured reserve and will miss at least four weeks (probably more). The defense is missing Myles Garrett (on IR with a knee problem) and Trent McDuffie (out with a groin issue). As such, my Rams vs Raiders prediction is for the home team to cover.
Regardless of their current skid, the Raiders have overachieved so far in 2026. Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins is quietly playing very good football, while the defense can send Maxx Crosby, Quay Walker and Nakobe Dean to get after Rams 38-year-old QB Matthew Stafford. Moreover, it's not like Las Vegas' losing streak has been a shameful one. Two of the recent setbacks have come by three points against both Kansas City and Buffalo. In six games this year, the Raiders have lost by more than a field goal just once. I’m not saying they are going to win outright, but 5.5 points may be more than enough to cover.

NFL Week 7 Best Bet: Kansas City Chiefs +2.5 over Seattle Seahawks (+100)
Odds available at Fanatics Sportsbook at time of publishing.
The average NFL bettor will stumble upon this spread and immediately ask many questions. For starters, how are the 5–0 Chiefs underdogs in this spot, especially considering how clumsy the Seahawks looked last Thursday night? Kansas City, on the other hand, looks more like the championship-caliber team we were used to seeing before a regrettable 2025.
The reigning Super Bowl champions more than doubled the Broncos in total yards at Denver, but one mistake after another, most notably two interceptions by Sam Darnold, paved the runway for a Broncos win. Seahawks bettors like yours truly were dumbfounded by many of Darnold’s decisions. In Week 6, he threw 27-51 for just 5.5 yards per pass, taking five sacks as well. He has thrown seven interceptions through six games.
Still, Seattle overwhelmingly out-produced the Broncos in total yards, 353-168, and first downs, 24-13. By every metric except turnovers and penalty yardage, the Seahawks were clearly the better team, even on the road in a tough environment. With 10 days to prepare and make up for their transgressions, we imagine Seattle will look far more buttoned up in Week 7.
That still doesn't mean that they can pull away from the Chiefs. Andy Reid seems to have done it again, rebuilding a Chiefs roster that desperately needed new talent. Patrick Mahomes, who tore his ACL last December, is also playing as well as he ever has. Even with a wide receiver room that's been marred by injury, Mahomes is top-10 in QBR and owns a 3-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Perhaps the Chiefs’ most transformative addition is Super Bowl 60 MVP Kenneth Walker III, who leads the NFL in rushing yards (665) despite an early bye-week.
On both sides of the ball, Kansas City ranks in the top 5 in most categories. Defensively, teams can’t move the ball on them nor do they pull off explosive plays (KC is second overall). In terms of yards per game, no one is gaining more on average (414).
Everything about this contest is high-level – two Super Bowl-winning coaches, two Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks, and two defenses that are schemed and disciplined as well as any units in the NFL. Considering Seattle's clumsy performance in Week 6, we would be shocked if they didn't come out looking more like the championship team we saw at the end of last season. From the visitors, we haven't seen anything but exceptional effort and results. This should be a very close, very entertaining clash.
