NFL Week 9 5-Leg Parlay: Best Picks for Sunday's Games at +1696 odds
Week 9 of the NFL season kicked off with Jacksonville’s unsurprising demolition of a depleted Baltimore squad, and now it’s time to focus on a full Sunday slate. It is headlined by Bengals vs Falcons in Madrid, Broncos vs Panthers, Packers vs Patriots and Buccaneers vs Bears on Sunday Night Football.
Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our NFL picks.
Broncos -2.5 (-120)
Cowboys ML (-220)
Packers +3.5 (-118)
Texans -5.5 (-110)
Bears -6 (-110)
NFL parlay odds: +1696
Broncos -2.5 over Panthers (-120)
The good times are rolling in Denver, as head coach Sean Payton’s squad improved to 6-2 last week by taking down Kansas City 28-21 for its fourth straight win. The Broncos' only losses so far in 2026 have come at the Chiefs in Week 1 and at the 49ers in Week 4. Needless to say, both K.C. and San Fran are far superior to Carolina. Bryce Young and company were once 3-2, but after that they got humiliated 43-13 at home by a previously 1-5 Bucs outfit and then lost 27-19 at the Packers in Week 8. Young now faces an even tougher matchup against a formidable Denver defense, It’s safe to say that this is a tale of two teams going in opposite directions, so let’s back the Broncos to stay hot.
Cowboys ML over Colts (-220)
Indianapolis is bad and getting worse, as this franchise has been the biggest seller so far in advance of the trade deadline. The Colts unloaded defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the 49ers and guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks. Star running back Jonathan Taylor and receiver Josh Downs could be next to go. Unsurprisingly, head coach Shane Steichen’s depleted squad was not competitive last week – and that’s an understatement. Jacksonville destroyed Indy 42-7 in a game that was over by halftime (28-0). Now, the Cowboys aren’t the Jagurs – not even close. But we aren’t asking Dallas to win by 35 points; we are simply calling for a victory of any kind. That is something the ‘Boys should be able to do, as the Colts’ offense is not equipped to take advantage of a bad Dallas defense. I’m not willing to give more than field goal to anyone with the Cowboys these days, but they will likely snag the win.
Packers +3.5 over Patriots (-118)
The Packers are in great shape heading into a huge showdown at New England on Sunday. Micah Parsons isn’t back yet, but they are otherwise good to go – and the defense is starting to play well without him. Green Bay has won four of its last five games following a 1-2 start and it is playing on extra rest after disposing of Carolina 27-19 on Thursday Night Football in Week 8. Meanwhile, the Patriots’ last three performances have resulted in a seven-point win over the Jets, a six-point loss to the Bears and a five-point win over the Dolphins. Based on those efforts, it’s hard to have any faith in New England beating any opponent by the necessary margin. The Packers have a good chance to win this one outright, but getting more than a field goal is value that is too good to pass up.
Texans -5.5 over Chargers (-110)
This line is understandably on the move in the Texans’ favor, but it’s certainly still playable at –5.5. After all, the Chargers stink. They are the worst team in the NFL, in fact. Their 0-7 record includes four double-digits setbacks and not a single loss by fewer than six points. Head coach Jim Harbaugh’s squad is dead last in the NFL in scoring (14.1 ppg), #28 in total yards and #29 in turnover margin (-6). This is a great spot for Houston – and not just because its opponent is terrible. The Texans have won two of their last three games – including over a currently 6-2 Jacksonville squad – and they are also well rested coming off a Week 8 bye. The Bolts are 0-10 against the spread in their last 10 games dating back to last season and 1-4 ATS in in their last five against the Texans.
Bears -6 over Bucs (-110)
The Bears are looking like the best team in the NFL, especially after what they did at Seattle last week. On Monday Night Football, head coach Ben Johnson’s club clobbered the defending Super Bowl champions 34-17 in a hostile environment. D’Andrew Swift scored three touchdowns and a new-look defense led by Jeffrey Simmons showed significant improvement. After arriving from Tennessee for two first-round picks, Simmons made an instant impact to the tune of one sack, one QB hit, one pass deflected and six total tackles – three solo and two for a loss. If the defense continues to perform like that, watch out – because we already know the Bears’ offense is electric. The Bucs are playing decent football of late, but they have not defeated any opponent that currently has a winning record. Chicago is playing at home and giving less than a touchdown? Yes, please.
