Are you that person at the Super Bowl party who cares more about the commercials than the big game itself? Then we need to talk.

When Super Bowl LVIII kicks off on February 11 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, millions of parties around the world will be focused on the spectacle. Most people will be watching for the game, but a huge number of viewers will tune in for a peek at the always-entertaining commercials that are sure to spark debate in the days to come. It seems everyone has an opinion on which Super Bowl commercial is best, and why their favorite should also be your favorite.

In an effort to put the debate to rest, we’re looking for one extra-observant commercial connoisseur to watch and rate each and every commercial played during Super Bowl LVIII. The winner will choose their 10 favorite Super Bowl commercials, then we’ll ask them to rate them using our expertly-devised, ironclad criteria.

To make sure our commercial connoisseur is immersed in the ultimate football-watching environment, we’re paying them to host the ultimate Super Bowl party. Our winner will receive a $500 DoorDash gift card to keep the hungry partygoers satisfied, a 65” 4K TV so everyone has a view of the big game, and a $2,000 cash prize for their efforts.

Get Paid to watch and rate Super Bowl commercials while hosting the ultimate Super Bowl party

How it works

You can get paid to watch and rate Super Bowl commercials, all while hosting the ultimate watch party. Our winner will be paid $2,000, as well as receive other prizes totaling over $1,000.

The winner will be asked to score each of the commercials  on a scale of one to ten, for each of the following criteria

  1. Entertainment Impact – How entertaining and engaging was the commercial? Did it grab your attention and make you want to watch it again?
  2. Innovation Index – Evaluate the commercial’s level of creativity and innovation. Did it introduce a new concept or approach in advertising?
  3. Social Buzz Score – Assess the commercial’s potential for creating social media buzz. How likely is it to be shared and talked about on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram?
  4. Tear-Jerker Test – Did the commercial get you right in the feels? Rate how likely you were to reach for the tissues.
  5. Cameo Coolness Quotient – Consider the coolness or novelty of any celebrity cameos. Did unexpected celebrity appearances add an extra layer of excitement to the commercial?

For example, a nearly-perfect commercial that scores a 9/10 in each category would receive an overall rating of 45/50.

Applications close on February 4, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (EDT)
